Lovely way to spend 4 hrs - with an hours cruise to and from Silk Island including a walking tour of the village, temples and school and a tuk tuk ride to the silk farm - fascinating process. Free beer and soft drinks plus fruit platter on return and a great english speaking guide made it all worthwhile
Boat ride to silk island according to our expectations. Exciting guide, island full of charm, visit rich in discoveries
There were only 3 of us on this trip but our excellent guide made the trip a good one Very informative and cheeky ! The difference in the vibe on the island compared to the city was very welcome and most importantly there was no pressure to buy at the silk factory Thanks Guys
It was a beautiful day and an extremely interessant half day tour to Silk Island. I can only recommend it to other visitors in Phnom Penh!
A highlight of our trip to Phnom Penh. Our guide was super knowledgeable & gave us a great experience. The women making & weaving the silk were obviously so skilled at their craft.
They never showed up. I got charged and then received a conformation email. I was never contacted by the tour guides and they never showed up. I also had no way to contact them. This is my first bad experience with a booking through the Viator app
It was quite a quick trip but very good. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful and we were the only ones on the boat. He even talked me into having a beer at 8:30am! Watching the lady's making the silk clothing was fascinating, it was real old school and impressive to watch. They were also very funny. We asked one of the elderly ladies what happens if the silk breaks on her 50 year old wooden loom, her reply (in Cambodian) was i press control Z. 🤣
Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of his life and knowledge. But no fruit tray so eat before you go. Lovely day on the river.
It was a good experience. Our guide was knowledgeable. We did it in October.. a bit hot. November to February is the recommended time
Great tour, picked up from hotel on time, boat clean & undercover area with comfortable lounge chairs and nice cold beers flowing. Our guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable throughout the tour. Highly recommend
