Paisa town located on the top of Nutibarra Hill it's a replica of a typical colonial town. Enjoy the best view of the city from the top of the mountain.
Plaza Botero is a cultural and visual must-see for any visitor. The city of Medellin installed the plaza in between the Palacio de Cultura Uribe Uribe and the Museo de Antioquia in 2002 as part of an urban renewal program. The park has 23 sculptures given to the city by the famous Colombian artist, Fernando Botero.
Walk around the famous cultural palace an unique Neogothic building located next door to plaza Botero.
Visit this stuning colonial minor Basilic in down town Medellin.
Pass by an unique park in the city that was once one of the most relevant ones in downtown.

This was our second time visiting Medellín. On our first trip, we did a private tour of Comuna 13, a cable car ride, and learned about Pablo Escobar. This tour was different and excellent because we explored another cable line and visited areas we hadn’t seen before. Our guide, Andres, was fantastic. His English is very good, his car was comfortable, and he made us feel at ease while exploring new areas of the city. At the end of the tour, he also provided great restaurant recommendations when I asked. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this tour and Andres as a guide.

Our guide John was spectacular! He was so knowledgeable about the history of Medellin and so passionate about this city. He took us on the metro systems cable cars where we had a great view of the city. He took us to a few spots around the city all while explaining the history of each location. I cannot recommend this tour enough it was a great way to see a lot of the highlights. Our guide John was so wonderful we actually hired him to take us on another tour while we were visiting. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

A very enjoyable introduction to the city of Medellin. Pablo was a knowledgeable and very pleasant guide. You get to see the downtown area around Plaza Botero and, as we opted in, a cable car ride up to Arvi park.

This tour provides a great look into the real lives of the people of Medellin. As a matter of expectations, I’ll note that David has a very dry personality. Meaning he’s not a constant or in-depth explainer, nor does he express his enthusiasm really well. In other words, the tour is more like you’ll walking around the town with a local who is available to answers your questions if you have them. Otherwise, his explanations will be brief. That said, the tour was not rushed at all. David was very flexible and catered to my friend’s desire to stop and shop. If you want to see the real city life of the densely populated city of Medellin, this is the tour for you.
Hello and thank you for your kind review. Our guide David was more concerned in keeping you guys safe in that part of downtown. We normally don't cover that area. Our guides also take care of our guests, looking out for any potential hazards, or weirdos, so maybe it was a perception issue. However, I appreciate you stating the positive aspects that David brought to the table, in regards to him being flexible and allowing your friend time to go shopping. We don't include a shopping tour segment in this excursion, unless guests pay for it, since it adds way more time than what the actual sites include. We usually have back to back tours and don't cover other activities that are not stipulated in the booking. So perhaps, he was feeling a little nervous that he was actually giving you more time than he should of to go shopping. Nevertheless, we appreciate you and your endorsement.
