Our first stop is the iconic Ile aux Cerfs, a true tropical haven. You'll have around 1 hour to dip your toes in the soft white sand, and enjoy complimentary refreshments to kick off your day in paradise.
Next, we'll cruise up the longest river in Mauritius to witness the majestic GRSE Waterfall. Enjoy the spectacular view of this powerful cascade as it flows into the Indian Ocean, surrounded by lush, vibrant greenery. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys along the riverbanks!
We then head to the historic Ile aux Phares, home to an impressive 19th-century lighthouse. Here, you'll witness a stark contrast: the tranquil lagoon on one side and the dramatic open ocean on the other, offering incredible photo opportunities and a glimpse into Mauritius' past.
Glide past the historic Ile de la Passe, a small yet significant islet famous for its pivotal role in the 1810 naval battle between French and British forces. Your guide will share captivating stories of this strategic landmark.
We'll also glide past the captivating Ile aux Aigrettes, a protected nature reserve. Admire its untouched beauty from the boat, a testament to Mauritius' conservation efforts for rare endemic species. Dive into the vibrant the island). Wonderful tour of the East Islands with Satine, a great skipper full of humor and very attentive. A magnificent landscape and Satine has plenty of surprises in store for us. 😁
Very beautiful boat, very pleasant welcome from the skipper, a person who knows his job, the places to stop, even though we ate late (departure at 9 AM and meal at 2 PM), we had small sandwiches with the local vitamin (the rum of course). It was truly a beautiful day.

Sachin was one of the highlights of the trip. Very funny and entertaining. The trip wasn’t rushed. The water fall was beautiful, with monkeys jumping onto the boat. The view from the lighthouse was stunning and finally the lunch was fantastic. Amazing trip and thoroughly recommend this trip when coming to Mauritius!

We booked via Mr Rho tours (highly recommended). Our skipper and guide for the day was Donovan, what a guy. He had us learning, laughing and dancing on the boat. The snorkelling was superb. Our bbq lunch consisted of lobster chicken and sausage with rice and local potato salad all divine. The vibe was great after we was presented with a cake a champagne the impromptu beach party started. Thank you everyone for making our 25th wedding anniversary so special. Big shout out to Donovan.
Very pleasant speedboat excursion to the GRSE waterfall, Lighthouse Island... A seaside aperitif followed by an included lunch on the paradisiacal Deer Island. I highly recommend it.
1-star review I had a very disappointing experience on this tour. I booked the more expensive speedboat tour, but I was instead sent on a much cheaper catamaran boat, which is not what I paid for. Several places that were mentioned as part of the original itinerary were also skipped without any proper explanation. On top of that, I specifically booked an English-language tour, but I was put with a French-speaking group. The guide mostly spoke in French and did not properly translate into English, even after I asked multiple times. Later, when I asked a few questions, the guide became rude and said something like, “Why didn’t you listen to my briefing earlier?” That was unfair, because the briefing was not properly given in English. Overall, this was a very bad experience. I spent a lot of money expecting a premium speedboat tour after reading good reviews, but the day was ruined. I felt misled, ignored, and disappointed. I would not recommend this tour unless they clearly provide what people actually booked and improve how they treat guests.
Thank you for your review as its count a lot for us , just wanted to clarify that first of all the cataspeed trip is more expensive than the speedboat trip you payed and in the morning you were informed that as the weather was not do good you were given the cataspeed for the trip without any additional charge just for our guess enjoys the trip even if it was raining and you agreed to . Concerning briefing and explanation both english and french was given but you decided to stay apart which is beyond our control .
