Description
All riders must be 36 inches or taller to participate/ride submarine. Dive 100 feet below the surface and experience Maui’s marine treasures off beautiful Lahaina with Atlantis Submarines Maui. A special added bonus of this tour experience is seeing the spectacular West Maui Mountains while riding our shuttle boat to the Maui dive site. Stingray, yellow tang, eel, parrotfish, bluefin trevally, and an array of other marine species are seen regularly at the dive site. See firsthand how the Carthaginian, a sunken 19th century whaling brig, has combined with Mother Nature to create a fascinating artificial reef to attract and support marine life of all sizes, shapes and colors. Our air-conditioned, comfortable submarine interiors offer large viewing ports, which allow guests to relax and enjoy the amazing wonders of the deep. Our quiet, battery-powered submarines are eco-friendly, emitting no pollutants and leaving marine life undisturbed. Join us for an unforgettable experience!

They tried to be fair with both sides of the submarine but I thought the Port side was better. They seemed to see everything first. Although we didn't get to choose sides. The crew was fantastic, informative & fun. They also played some good tunes that coincided with the theme. Didn't see much in the way of sea creatures but you can't predict what the marine creatures will do. Over all was fun & informative.

Wow. Wonderful experience. This is the 3rd time I have done this, in Maui and Barbados, and it gets better every time! Highly recommend it.
Absolutely amazing experience and one of the highlights of our Maui trip! The submarine itself was incredible, but Captain Jim truly made the experience. He was hilarious, personable, informative, and such a great guy. We had an awesome time and would absolutely recommend this excursion!

The entire staff were very friendly and informative about the safety of the submarine and the types of wildlife we saw! Would definitely recommend for families and those wanting to see what thunder the sea is like! They also mentioned they just opened back up 5 months ago after the Lahaina fires so it’s great to support them now that they’re open!

Very informative and helpful experience Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, helpful but funny and playful on the same time, not a boring moment on that trip ! Highly recommended !!!!

This was a very interesting ride on the submarine . The staff was informative and funny . A true pleasure of seeing a sunken ship and all the fish

The ladder to enter into sub is pretty steep. Not recommended for guests with mobility disabilities.
