Optional departure times are available on selected cruise ship dates to accommodate varying arrival schedules. Zozo Travel will provide a scheduled pick-up time based on your chosen hotel. Please check your email or Viator messages for your tour details. Be ready in the hotel lobby or outside at the specified time to meet your driver-guide. For cruise terminal passengers, your driver-guide will meet you at the terminal, holding a Zozo Travel sign with your name. Kindly identify yourself to the driver-guide upon arrival.

Incredible drive with amazing scenery.Phil our guide was fantastic! The Moy Hall Wineyard wine & cheese tasting was great and the optional lunch was Fantastic! Then the chocolate tasting has a wide variety. The trip back over the mountains was just a good and the first time.

We booked with ZoZo. Booking was easy and we found it convenient and a good value. Athena was charming and knowledgeable. The wine and chocolate tastings were delightful. The cheese tastings was a bit oversold and disappointing. We also went off course for about 20m due to the guide being distracted while speaking with a guest, which cut into our time to shop and explore. The van door also would not properly close. Overall we were pleased.

This was a good look at the beautiful countryside outside of Wellington travelling through the mountains into farmland. Athena was excellent and provided some great historical background of the area. This tour however was barely a Foodie/Wine tour. The cheese and wine samples were meagre. 4 small tastes of wine and a small board with two cheese samples for 6 people to share. If you want to experience the area outside of Welllington this is a good tour, but if you’re going for wine and food you’ll be disappointed.
Sorry to hear that your wine and cheese experience with us was not up to scratch. Three platters were prepared for the group of 11 on the tour that were spread across the two tables and it seems like we could've done a better job making that clear to the group. Of course the other option is to get our Martinborough Winery & Foodie Tour which is a more comprehensive foodie experience in the region but is 8 hours rather than 5. Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback as it is much appreciated and gives us the chance to improve our service.

A beautiful drive through the mountains to wine and cheese tasting and then chocolate tasting. It was all delicious. Athena was an amazing guide. We had a great overview of the history and she was very accommodating.

Not a real ‘foodie’ tour. Food included is only a cheese plate at Moy Hall winery and chocolate tasting at Schoc Chocolate
Sorry to hear it wasn't a 5 star experience for you Iris. We do have a full day Martinborough Winery & Foodie Tour (8hrs) that includes wine, cheese , chocolate, olive oil, craft beer and lunch that was available. I think you're issue is that you have limited time when in port on a cruise ship. The Martinborough Foodie Half Day Tour (5hrs) that you selected is shorter and thus only includes the wine, cheese and chocolate stops. A cellar door lunch was also available at guests expense. There's not much more we can pack in within the limited timeframe.
We were lucky to have the whole tour to ourselves and got a lovely tour guide, Gary. Gary told us lots of stories about the city and the Martinborough region, which was super educational since it was our first trip to Wellington. Gary even helped us replan our tour and took us to a winery that totally didn't disappoint. We ended up buying a couple of bottles to enjoy for the rest of our NZ trip. Highly recommended!

We were lucky - only the two of us on the tour. Our guide became of friend during the tour. Wine, cheese and chocolate were all delicious. Time for a little shopping too.

Having been to Wellington before, I was looking to do something beyond the city and this half day foodie tour was perfect. Three stops on the tour in three different towns to visit a cheese shop, chocolate shop and winery. Tasting at the chocolate shop was especially fun. Phil was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He’s thought of everything on this tour, including providing reusable cups for coffee and sick bags for those windy roads. If I’m back in Wellington again, I’ll make sure to go on the full day tour!
