Itinerary
At the beginning of the excursion, the driver will pick you up at the meeting place and continue the journey to Aït Ben Haddou. On the way, we will take a small coffee and toilet break after about 1 hour 30 minutes drive.
We then continue through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, the highest road pass in Morocco, located at 2,260 meters above sea level. This spectacular route offers panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains, traditional Berber villages and the majestic landscapes of the region. After several photo stops to admire the scenery, we continue on our way to Aït Ben Haddou.
Upon arrival in Ait Ben Haddou, you will enjoy a guided tour of this magnificent Ksar listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This clay fortified village is one of the best preserved in Morocco and is a remarkable example of traditional architecture in the south of the country. Walking through its narrow streets, you will discover its old houses, fortified towers and enjoy an exceptional panoramic view of the surrounding valley. Aït Ben Haddou has also served as the setting for many famous films and series, such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones, making it a must-see for film and history lovers.
After visiting Aït Ben Haddou, you will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the ksar or the surrounding landscapes. You can enjoy traditional Moroccan specialities, such as tagine, couscous or grills, while enjoying a moment of relaxation before continuing the excursion.
After lunch, we will continue our excursion to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the “desert gate”. You will visit the famous film studios of Atlas Studios, one of the largest film studios in the world. During this tour, you will discover the sets used in many international films and series, as well as behind the scenes of major productions shot in Morocco. This experience will allow you to dive into the world of cinema and learn more about the cinematic history of the region
After visiting the film studios, we will make a photo stop in front of the magnificent Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most emblematic historical monuments of Ouarzazate. Former residence of the Glaoui family, this impressive adobe kasbah stands out for its traditional architecture, decorated towers and authentic Berber details. This stop will allow you to admire its exterior, take beautiful photos and learn more about the history and heritage of southern Morocco.
After the visit and photo stops at the Taourirt Kasbah, we will take the road back to Marrakech. You will cross the beautiful landscapes of the High Atlas again via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with possible stops along the way. Arrival in Marrakesh at about 19:00

We had an amazing experience with this trip, the pick up was on time, the stop off was in a small local shop, with bathrooms that are super clean. No one forcing you to buy anything so you feel comfortable. jalil our lovely tour guide was amazing, he stoped and waited for us to get some lovely beautiful photos of the Atlas Mountains. Then we went to Studio where the movies were filmed a nice tour there and then headed to Hait Ben hdou where you go back in time with beautiful venues! The car had AC which made the trip comfortable in the heat. I would recommend this trip.

Very good driver-guide; however, there was a lot of driving for little time to visit. There was no time to enjoy the scenery, which is a shame.
