Itinerary
The koutoubia mosque is a religious building built in XII century in Marrakech (Morocco). Its architecture and its ascetic decor.
Jemaa el-Fnaa is a square and market place in Marrakesh's medina quarter (old city). It remains the main square of Marrakesh .
With time and as Marrakech grew, smaller markets started springing up. None of these are exactly small, and they are all worth exploring. Some souks had specialities, and today you can visit the carpet souk, the leather souk, the shoe souk, the gold souk and the spice souk. We would suggest you visit them all and they are literally named after what they sell. It’s a good idea to visit the Medina and main souks with a guide, especially for the first time. You can join a guided walking tour, private or in a group, and get a real sense of Marrakech’s narrow alleys, colourful markets, interesting architecture and incredible people.
Step into the magic of Marrakech’s Medina, where every corner tells a story and every street bursts with color, life, and history. Lose yourself in the maze of lively souks, where the scent of exotic spices fills the air and vibrant fabrics sway in the breeze. Watch snake charmers and storytellers bring ancient traditions to life in the iconic Jemaa el-Fna square, then retreat to the peaceful beauty of hidden riads and serene courtyards. With its dazzling palaces, timeless architecture, and unforgettable energy, the Medina is not just a place to visit—it’s a world to discover.

A relatively cheap way to get to Marrakesh. Beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains on route. It might sound a bit daunting, but plan your own tour of the city, the guides priority is profiteering with his choice of shop and restaurant. Just make sure you know your coach pick up point. Marrakesh is a safe city, but you do need to focus on what is around you, watch the motorcycles, scooters- take necessary precautions.
Merci beaucoup
Comfortable and air-conditioned trip with a friendly driver. Visit the medina with a very good guide. The souk is authentic and has all its charm. What to do
Merci beaucoup pour votre commentaire
We really enjoyed the trip. However, on the drive from Agadir to Marrakech the tour guide didn’t provide any commentary which would have been nice. The Atlas Mountains are beautiful and I’m sure there was some interesting facts to tell. In Marrakech we spent a bit too much time in the souk for my liking but some people want that I suppose. I would have rather seen a bit more of the city itself. In the end the guide was very good and interesting and we enjoyed the day.
Dear Robert. Thank you very much for your review Best Regards
