Interesting experience. The day was pleasant; I was not prepared for the descent with suitable shoes and a raincoat, but I was able to admire the wonder and energy of the waterfalls. I recommend suitable shoes, a raincoat, and a water bottle.
A beautiful park, with trails suitable for most visitors. The falls have two opening hours, and several trails and viewing points. The most suggestive point is definitely the path n. 4, reachable in 15 minutes. The paths are almost entirely shaded and cool, In some places it is advisable to wear a raincoat, which can also be purchased on site for the price of one euro. The ticket has a cost of 12 euros, but there are discounts for tourists staying in affiliated facilities nearby. However the cost of the ticket is absolutely worth the experience. In the park there are various places to stop or buy food. Paid parking, maybe a little expensive. Overall beautiful and fulfilling experience.
Relaxing path in the green between streams, waterfalls and waterfalls with adequate spaces to sit and admire the spectacle and listen to the roar of the water.
This is the highest waterfall in Europe. It is impressive and well worth the trip. Indeed, not to be missed if you are in Umbria or Tuscany. It is 165 meters high, which translates to over 400 feet. You can view the falls from the bottom or hike a distance to get another view.
Less impressive than I expected. It's a man-made waterfall so they actually switch it off in the evening.
A wonderful place that is absolutely worth a trip! Very well looked after and extremely helpful and kind staff. If you are nearby it is worth a visit. I suggest you go quite early in the morning so as not to have crowding problems. Ticket strictly online!!
It is indeed suggestive and worth seeing but we all suck blood from tourists. The ticket can fit if the money is used for the management of the trails and the structure in general, but charging for the hourly parking is an insult to tourism: a legalized scam!
Buongiorno, grazie della recensione sulla Cascata delle Marmore, con i suoi bellissimi salti e percorsi naturalistici. Purtroppo il problema del parcheggio non è nelle nostre mani.
There are no words to describe the beauty of this place .. it seems to be in an amusement park but it's all true! The only out of tune note concerns the excess of human works (iron stairs) that disfigure the landscape a lot .. I would have appreciated more a less invasive human approach To eat the sandwich with the porchetta in one of the shacks near the high entrance in front of the tourist Office
I used the bridge of April 25 for a few days of relaxation in Umbria. On the way home the Marmore Falls were a great choice. For those who have never been there, I recommend checking the water release times in advance and bringing a K-Wai. You will find various possible itineraries; personally I suggest to start quickly from route n. 4, to then move more calmly to no. 2 and 3, super panoramic and suggestive! Have a great time!!
Beautiful place and well organized I did not give 5 stars because two things I did not like 1 the ticket office is poorly organized (I recommend buying online) the second thing the worst the Shuttle Service zero organization a real mess especially for people with children or elderly ... shame otherwise everything would have been perfect
