Itinerary
We depart from Marina Vallarta around 9:00 AM. Just 10 minutes into the journey, we reach the mouth of the Ameca River, a scenic spot that’s also a great place to spot dolphins enjoying their morning meal. About an hour into the trip, we arrive at the islands. During the winter months, the journey itself becomes part of the adventure, as the ocean often offers incredible wildlife sightings — including dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, and even whales. Once we reach the islands, we’ll provide you with snorkel gear and life jackets. Our team will guide you on how to properly use the equipment and share tips to improve your in-water skills, ensuring a fun and safe snorkeling experience.

- The snorkeling tour is for ages 6-70 years old (In this case we recommend private family tour)
- If you are traveling by cruise please be sure to ask for the arrival time in central time.
- Pregnant travelers are NOT allowed in our tours due to safety of mother and baby.

We had just the best excursion with Rodrigo, Ever, and Capt. Emilio. There were professional, accommodating, and super friendly. They took my family out for some amazing snorkeling and then we hit a nice beach for some good food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience and very disappointed with this company. DO NOT pick this experience in VIATOR. The people here do not work with you and your concerns. I tried to reach out to them thru message and they never replied to me. Once I got to the place I asked them my concern even though I booked my experience and they couldn’t give me a straight answer keep giving the run about. Once I said I don’t feel comfortable with this I want my money back. They decided that I should call VIATOR. I told Viator my issues and concerns with this experience and how at this point I don’t feel comfortable as the people there made me feel that if the boat goes down well that’s just life. Viator call them to get them process my refund and they declined. Keeping my money and they even charged me extra $10 for a band that they put on my hand. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Regarding the wristband, this charge was applied because, although you chose not to participate in the tour, it still represents a cost for us as a tour operator. As for the refund, Viator—your booking agency—did proceed according to their policies. All relevant details and conditions are clearly outlined on your ticket both before and after purchase. From our perspective, this reservation also meant holding two spots that could not be offered to other guests, as we operate with limited capacity and do not overbook. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. It will certainly help future guests better plan their schedules, especially if they have flights or cruise departures on the same day.
