Experience an outing of vibrant public art in one of Maputo's neighborhoods, outside of the city center. We provide a 2 hour guided tour, where you will have the chance to experience public art in the form of murals, photography, and recycled materials created by a myriad of artists. You'll learn about the rich intersection of art, culture, and history in the periphery of Maputo. We provide an unparalleled opportunity to get off the beaten tourist track and get a glimpse into daily life in a Maputo community filled with art! The proceeds of the tour fund our non-profit organization. The majority of art schools, galleries, funding, & opportunities are concentrated in the wealthy & central zones of provincial capitals. Our mission is to bring art & community development programs to under-resourced neighborhoods, promote artistic expression, facilitate cultural preservation, catalyze gender & youth empowerment, & foster community development.

Very good experience to know the other side of the neighborhoods that in principle are poorly seen. not only unit 7, but has Chamanculo, Maxaquene, Polana caniço. and can still paint with the artists
The best walks of maputo street art were in Unidade7, where I had the opportunity to get to know the neighborhood better.
The tour was conducted by a knowledgeable and articulate guide who led us along a path of fascinating street murals.
The walking tour in Unidade 7 was so interesting and amusing. Ivan is a very nice, inteligent and funny artist and made the experience even better. I recommend! :)
I been visiting the Maputo Street art movement for a year and a half now! It’s a pleasant environment and everyone is very welcoming and friendly! Be ready for different types of art, culture and music! I totally recommend for art lovers and art seekers!
