So good!!

Chyl was such a delight! She has a warm, welcoming personality. She had our cooking stations and ingredients set up upon our arrival. While we were chopping, prepping, sautéing, etc she was chatting with us and educating us on Filipino cuisine and culture. The recipes were easy to follow and will be simple to replicate at home. The dishes were yummy and my kids enjoyed making theirs as well. If you like to cook and want to learn about Filipino staples, you should definitely book this class!

Best souvenir gift you can give yourself!

Take a cooking class, it's the best souvenir you can give yourself and it lasts your lifetime and you can share it with others. I enjoyed my cooking class with Cheryl. She was very through on explaining everything. I was the only person in the class and she was graceful enough not to cancel. I recommend this cooking class, have fun and learn to make yummy things!

Fun, Friendly and Tasty - a must do!

Chil was really sweet and kind. We were running late due to traffic and she worked with us. She made cooking fun and felt like family when we were done. There was a lot of food - we had left overs for later. Great with instructions and just over all fun way to learn Filipino culture. Inwouldncooknwithbherbagain, anytime.

Cooking “Snacks”

My son and I had a wonderful time learning to cook 3 Filipino snacks. Chyl was a great communicator with simple instructions to create savory and sweet treats. The class is held in an outdoor courtyard which had a nice breeze adding to a great cooking experience.

A great fitting end to my time in the Philippines!

This experience was the very last thing I did during my visit to the Philippines. I am a vegetarian and Filipino food is primarily meat/seafood so I didn’t get to have much local food during my travels. My goal with this experience was to learn about the local food, its origins and alternatives to meat which could help me recreate recipes back home. Chyl, the host, was very accommodating to my food preferences and helped throughout. I also appreciated that each one of us had our own equipment so we got to do each and every step for our dishes. All the three items we created were delicious and even though I was too full to finish everything during the experience- they made for a very special dinner later in the day. The host had take out containers ready for me to bring them safely. Thank you so much, can’t wait to recreate these in my kitchen.
