Manavgat River Cruise, Waterfalls and Market Tour from Alanya

In this trip we were taken to a mosque, which was beautiful we had 15 minutes to look around, then onto a large shop selling all kinds of replicas, we were given 40 minutes here weather we wanted to go in or not. The we drove to a waterfall where we were given 15 minutes to take photos. Then we went to the bazar that is huge we were given less than an hour so no where near enough time to wander the many aisles. Then onto the river cruise where all drinks were charged for despite the description. We sailed down the river, were served a light lunch (take your own snacks) then we were given 45 minutes on a less than picturesque beach where everyone is trying to sell you things. The sea is very very rough or you can swim in the polluted river the other side. This trip was a day out, not necessarily the one we were expecting.

A lovely day in Manavgat. First we were picked up at the hotel and driven to a mosque. We were inside watching it. Afterwards we drove to Manavgat to see the waterfall. Very nice but I thought there was more to see. After that we drove to a bazar. There were a lot of things you could buy. Nothing for me. Then I'd rather go to town and buy things there. It wasn’t because they were cheap. But ok we got to see it. Afterwards we sailed on the river in Manavgat. Totally cozy with stops where we ate lunch and we could swim in the river or walk on the beach which was between the river and the beach. Funny to see when you go on land you were on the beach. In all a very cozy and relaxed trip.

Because there are fewer tourists in October you can go to all places. The boat was relaxed and when saying no to offers such as photos, drinks, jet ski was not rammed through. Indoor bazaar was a bit disappointing for me, the prices were quite high and actually I was not waiting for it. Outdoor bazar is nice but a lot of the same merchandise, makes it a little less attractive to me. For others who want a bargain the place to be! Visit mosque and waterfall were short but long enough to enjoy. Return trip was a bit rushed from the bus drivers side, that could be a bit quieter. That would feel safer, too. All in all a successful day.

I was a bit hesitant to book because of the description of some of the reviews. However, i am so glad i did. The tour was really good. It was well organised. It’s definitely great value for money. The tour guy was very responsible and making sure everyone is accounted for before moving on to the next stop each time. I personally loved the waterfall and the mosque bit the most. The boat ride was good too. The tour guy also told us about Turkey, Alanya, Manavgat and Islam while on the bus between stops. He also tried to make sure everyone is happy. The tour included everything that was in the description and more.

A nice trip to experience. The waterfall of Manavgat is not spectacular but nice to see. The market in itself is an experience, fruits, vegetables, clothes and bags. Negotiating the price you really have to do!! During the boat trip on the manavgat you will see nice things, including trout farms. Lunch on the boat consists of trout or chicken breast. My recommendation is the trout. You can swim in the warm Mediterranean sea or in the cold manavgat. Quite a nice experience. Bit annoying are the sellers on the beach with perfumes, bird whistles, and the rental of the watercraft. You can rent a bed there (very expensive) but for the hour you are there I would sit in the sand. Don't forget your camera because during this trip you can shoot nice pictures.

We were 2 adults on this trip Monday the 13th. August 2018. We were away from the hotel for 10 hours, so it was a really long day. When we were picked up at the hotel by bus we spent the next 2 hours in the bus before we reached the grand bazaar. Here we got 1 hour to walk around before we went on. The bazaar was so big that we didn’t dare to go very far from the meeting point because we were afraid not to go further. After we visited the bazaar we drove on the bus. About 30 minutes. Now we arrived at the river and we were led over to a nice large boat in wood. In the time we were on the boat we had it super nice! We sailed for about 45 minutes, where the river met the sea. Here we took 1 hour break where we could swim. After that hour there was lunch. We could either choose fish or chicken with a little salad, bulgur and bread to. Pretty good lunch. Now the ride went back by the river, the same way we had sailed before. Again 45 minutes until we were back where we started. Then we thought that the trip had to go home, but the bus stops at a mosque and opens the doors. We don't understand what's going on, but we find that we have to enter this mosque. Do not delete a part of the tour, and no information is given from the guides! We chose to stay outside as we were not just interested in this attraction. As we finally have to move on we again do not have to home, but is enough to see a small (2 meters) waterfall. Again no information at all. Finally we are on our way home and it takes again 1.5-2 hours to get home again as everyone has to get off at their hotels on the way. I mean: - 10 hour trip with only 1.5 hours of sailing. - There was absolutely NO information during the trip. Our "guide" was an unengaged and boring woman, who absolutely did not go up in doing her job well. - We didn't hold a textile factory as promised. - We were not allowed to swim at a waterfall, but at the mouth of the sea instead. - We were at a mosque that was not part of the promised trip. It was a cheap trip, but definitely not worth the money, in our opinion. The only positive (and the reason why the attraction gets 2 "dots") is that the boat trip was really beautiful and cozy.

We are sold a peaceful cruise with a visit to a traditional souk and in the end we find a cruise to go quickly and visit the kingdom of counterfeit... Music throughout the trip, no comments during the visit and swimming on a common beach at will... Proper food, albeit summary... Not to mention everything we're looking to sell you on the cruise... Anyway, if you don't know what to do with your money...
