Itinerary

30 min

Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua, known as the Three Cities of Malta, are pieces of living history kept alive by hundreds of years of preservation, and the occasional miracle. The fortified cities sit like a trio of villages in the heart of Malta's historic centre, directly across the Grand Harbour from Valletta.

30 min

Marsaxlokk is especially known for the many luzzus in its harbour. In the background can be seen the parish church of Marsaxlokk dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary - The Madonna of Pompeii. Traditional luzzi and other larger and more modern vessels line the sheltered inner harbour.

Admission not included30 min

Malta’s oldest prehistoric site of Għar Dalam engages visitors to take a journey to a time before human habitation, when animals such as elephants, hippopotami, and red deer roamed the pristine wilderness of the Ice Age.

30 min

Quite of a natural wonder, the splendid Blue Grotto is a network of six caves, boasting the most stunning views and clearest waters the Maltese Islands have to offer. Idyllically situated on the Southern coast, this is one of Malta's most popular natural attractions.

Admission not included45 min

Ħaġar Qim is an ancient megalithic temple complex in Malta, dating from 3600–3200 BC, known for its impressive size, religious and astronomical alignments, and unique architecture using massive limestone blocks. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it features a main temple with interconnected chambers and a separate smaller structure, and is notable for a solstice alignment that highlights a central stone. Although its exact purpose isn't known, scholars suggest it was a sacred site for rituals and sun worship, as evidenced by findings like altars and fertility-related statuettes.

15 min

Located on Malta's western coast, at 253 metres above sea-level the Dingli Cliffs are the highest part of the Island. The cliffs became a popular attraction for tourists visiting Malta, heading there for a peaceful walk with boasting views of Filfa and the Mediterranean sea.

90 min

Situated in the southern part of Mdina, the charming city of Rabat (Malta) has a network of star-shaped streets and lovely buildings with traditional wooden ‘Gallarija’ balconies. The city, which is transformed from morning to evening when the tourists return to their destinations, has many attractions. It has catacombs, churches and Roman mosaics. It also has a well-deserved gastronomic reputation, with cafés and restaurants serving the best Maltese cuisine. A must when visiting Malta is to see the mosaics at the Domus Romana, a large villa dating back to the 1st century BC which, during the Arab period in the 11th century, was covered by a Muslim cemetery. Another must is to visit Saint Paul’s Catacombs, dating from the 3rd century BC, which were used for burials for 500 years. You should also visit Saint Agatha’s Catacombs.

120 min

Mdina is a fortified medieval town enclosed in bastions, located on a large hill in the centre of Malta. The town was the old capital of Malta, and with its narrow streets, few inhabitants and beatuful views over the Island it is truly a magical town.

C+ experience.

Gerald was prompt. The itinerary was as advertised and I was able to see lot in 4 hours including a beautiful drive which Gerald chose over the faster route. The countryside is gorgeous. My disappointment with the excursion is that while Gerald is a very good driver he knows next to nothing about the sites he took me to. He couldn't answer the most basic questions. He told me he does this almost every day so I would assume other customers have made the same observation. I might have booked it anyway because I had very limited time. Perhaps I should have said I wanted a driver who had some degree of knowledge to share. I just assumed that was a given for a guided tour.

Great tour – ideal for travelers with limited time!

We were absolutely thrilled with this tour. It covers a significant portion of the main sights in Malta. Since we wanted to make the most of our short stay, this was an extremely efficient solution. We covered the remaining highlights (Gozo, Blue Lagoon, etc.) on a second day via a boat trip, which gave us the perfect combination in the end. A big thank you to our very nice driver! He was incredibly flexible and kept us well-informed throughout the drive. Thanks to his interesting facts about the island and his helpful tips on how to manage our time at each stop, the day ran completely smoothly. It was exactly the customized experience we had hoped for.

Highlight of my three day trip to Malta, worth the expense

This private half-day tour was the absolute highlight of my three days in Malta! My guide was exceptional, professional, knowledgeable, and right on time. As we drove between sites, he answered every question I had about Malta’s fascinating history, culture, and landmarks, making every minute enjoyable and informative. When we were delayed waiting to see the caves, he graciously extended the tour so I wouldn’t miss out on anything, which I truly appreciated. His flexibility, patience, and genuine desire to make the experience memorable went above and beyond. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Malta. If you want a personalized experience with an outstanding guide, this is the tour to book!

Flexibility of time at each location

Gerald was an exceptionally punctual driver. He reached out to me two days and one day before our meeting to confirm the location and time. He arrived on time, and we enjoyed a tour customized to my interests. I had the flexibility to spend as much or as little time as I wanted at each location, so there was no wasted time. Gerald also provided a wealth of information about each site and about Malta in general.

Great your with Excellent Driver/ Guide

Was hectic at pickup as MSC EuropaWorlz gas docked and 6000 odd passengers getting off. Our driver Daryl kept in touch and met us. Tour was flexible so we did Three Cities, Marsaloxx, Blue grotto, Dingli Cliffs. Daryl aimed to be flexible to what we wanted to do as we had done Mdina the day before. Wanted to Sliema and St Julians but ran out of time. At Blue Grotto he suggested the boat ride- it was a good recommendation and highlight of the day. We did Dingli cliffs but as I had read elsewhere , you can skip this as Blue Grotto is better. Wish I had suggested just St Julians instead. Daryl was great - informative, friendly and focused on Is . A wonderful day with a great driver and guide who was friendly. Recommended

I had an excellent experience on the Malta Full-Day Private Tour with Gerald. He arrived right on time and the pickup and drop-off arrangements were very clear and easy to follow. Gerald took the time to understand my priorities and tailored the itinerary to match the places I most wanted to see. He also offered fantastic suggestions that helped me make the most of my time in Malta. Gerald is incredibly knowledgeable and shared a wealth of interesting information about Malta's history, culture, and landmarks, which made the experience even more enjoyable. His vehicle was clean and comfortable and his driving was excellent making for a very relaxed day of sightseeing. In just one day, I was able to see so much of Malta. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and I highly recommend Gerald to anyone looking for a personalized and informative tour of the island. 😃
