Mallorca Full Day Tour by Train, Tram and Boat

Description
We start the Tour Mallorca by train, tram and boat leaving from Palma. After crossing the valley of Lluc by bus, we arrive at the spectacular Sa Calobra Beach and the Torrent of Pareis, where we will enjoy free time for lunch or sunbathe. Then, we will embark on the boat towards the Soller Harbour (in case of bad weather, this part will be done by coach through Puig Major). The journey back to Palma will be done with the vintage Tram from Port of Soller to Soller city and with the vintage Train from Soller city to Palma city. This itinerary can change, depending on travel conditions. Lunch is not included in the price. You can ask for picnic at your hotel or have lunch in one of the restaurants in the Sa Calobra beach area.

Itinerary
In Sa Calobra, we will embark on a cruise to the Port of Sóller, sailing along the north coast of the island and observing the maritime cornice of the Sierra de Tramuntana (listed as a World Heritage Site) that offers spectacular views of nature in state pure. In Sa Calobra we stop for about 1h30 for lunch break (not included), bathing or to visit the Torrent.
This emblematic torrent crosses the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana and flows into the Mediterranean Sea. It is one of the favourite tourist locations for its beautiful scenery and for its natural habitat to many different animals. Back in 2003, Pareis was declared a natural monument.
This beautiful natural port is separated from Mallorca by the mountains of Tramuntana. A little treasure coveted from the corsairs offers us mixed perfumes of orange blossom, irreplaceable scenery and a rich maritime history. The old-fashioned wooden tram connects the Port and the Town of Soller, also known as the commercial and cultural centre on the Serra de Tramuntana. The mythical steam train has been running since 1912, running the route between Palma and Soller. It’s small rails, it’s artisan touch and antique feel all contribute to its splendour, whilst chugging along the natural path of the Serra de Alfabia.
we will start the return route with the classic train from Sóller to Palma. Its wooden wagons, pampered with care, take us with their soft rattle back in time to 1912 when it was inaugurated. The train is characterized by being a narrow gauge railway, rare today and by presenting a very varied old rolling stock, of a detailed character and artisan maintenance.

overall, I thought it was a good experience. When I booked an English speaking tour, was not expecting to have to listen as the guide translated to French and Dutch. More history and f the island would be good. Given the heat it would have been nice to spend more time in water. I don’t think we needed to take the train and the bus up into the mountains. The bus trip to the mountains was perfect. it would’ve been nice if the boat stopped somewhere close to a beach and let us swim to cool off in the heat.
Full day. Lots of information. Bus, boat, train all done easily. Great places to stop and shop and eat.

It was difficult to organise the meeting point. Other than that our guide and driver were excellent.
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the meeting point was difficult to organize. We understand how important a smooth start is to the overall experience, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. That said, we're pleased to hear that once the tour got underway, both the guide and driver provided excellent service. We'll be sure to share your kind words with the team. Thank you for traveling with us and for taking the time to leave a review. Your comments help us continue improving the experience for future guests. Best regards, Fun and Tickets Team
The day was very well organized. Everything is arranged so that the transportation flows smoothly while enjoying a break at each stop. My best friend and I loved it. The guide Viviane was exceptional 😎 A day full of discoveries where we were amazed. They even picked us up and dropped us off next to our hotel.
would not book at all unless you want the shadiest company touring you they cancelled sacolobra and didn’t tell me until the bus was moving.. the reason? there was cyclists, completely valid except i asked them on whatsapp 2 days before if the trip would still be on and they confirmed and also said any changes would be notified in advance.. so much for that. 0 coordination across the many modes of transportation- the guide rushed through and my group definitely did not understand what she said if you’re going to explain it maybe slow down? literally would give this 0 stars if possible - oh and i made plans to figure out the rest of the trip since that was the main attraction for me and i was able to go Literally avoid at all costs
Good day Rishika, We are in business thanks to all the customers that daily choose our tours. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the bikes sport event. Thanks for your suggestion with regards to slowing down when giving instructions at the different modes of transportation. Your inputs are always more than welcome. We are sorry for not having met your expectations. Kind regards, Fun and Tickets Team
I took several trips with tripadvisor, and this is by far the worst experience I ever had In the morning a 9:20 start was delayed by 50 minutes because Vivian, our guide, was waiting for her friends to come for whom she had reserved the best seats in the bus and wouldn’t let anybody sit there Those 50 minutes delay was endured with no explanation. No apologies, no reasoning. Her English was broken. Her German was worse. There was no stop between switching languages in a monotonous raspy voice, which was very difficult to listen to. The only time she wanted to make sure that everybody understood her was when she asked for tips. There was no guidance on the boat ride no guidance on the tram and train rides. There was no clear instructions on where we were going: only when we had to be back on the bus. She was very clumsy in tracking people on the bus, referred to many people by the wrong names, didn’t explain who was supposed to switch buses and where and why. I think instead of her, a voice record would have better communications with the passengers. Any questions even the simplest ones were answered by a rude attitude, such as ‘I told you three times already why didn’t you listen’ which in most-cases wasn’t true. All passengers sort of gave up on her and shared our experience with how rude she was to them too The bus on the ride to Soler was way too large for the curved twisty and narrow roads, and it was a very, very dangerous trip. It should be done safely by a smaller tour bus. I wish I could get my money back because we just spent over $250 and 10 hours of our time to be driven aimlessly and dangerously around the countryside by a rude and disturbed person. Do not take this trip with this person Vivian. I’m still upset and this is the nicest way I can describe how I feel.
Good day Ani, The description that you are giving from our guide referring to her as a disturbed person is not appropriate. Safety in our buses is mandatory. It’s not an option. This is strictly controlled by the authorities in Mallorca.. We apologize for not having met your expectations with regards to the guide and tour. Regards, Fun and Tickets Team
great tour with great staff. Such a great bus driver, tour guide and overall staff. Very understanding and accommodating Tour guide was knowledgeable and funny! Me and my friends had a great time and bit to mention the guide spoke about 4 languages and counting
Dear Miss K, “A time was had” says it all 😄 It’s great to hear you and your friends had such a fun day and felt well looked after by the whole team. Having a guide who can keep things informative and entertaining while switching between languages definitely adds something special to the experience. Glad it turned into such a memorable day for your group. Best, The Fun and Tickets Team
After a lengthy wait at a bus stop ( no hotel pickup as advertised) I called the company. They told me, sorry the driver forgot to pick you up. Now they will to their best to find out I I can be refunded 🤨 I REPEAT, do not loose a sunny day like me, do not get angry like me, do not get scammed like me, book somewhere else
Good day, We apologize for any inconvenience caused by an unfortunate misunderstanding. We are sorry for not to have met your expectations. With kind regards, Fun and Tickets Team
Didn't begin well:- chaotic at pick up point:- multiple Lemon buses arriving simultaneously:- people had no idea which was the correct bus. People had to go from bus to bus to see which was the correct bus for them. One of the guides in particular was completely unhelpful and rude at this point (to multiple people, not just us). Journey to Sa Calobra was pleasant:- bus driver extremely skilful on the narrow mountain roads! Boat trip back to Port Soller was good. Unfortunately, we had zero time there (thought we might be able to grab a swim), and had to go straight to the tram to Soller. We had the grand total of 20 minutes in Soller before getting on the train back to Palma:- no time whatsoever to get a flavour of the place.
Good day Aidan, It’s great that you enjoyed the journey to Sa Calobra, and the boat trip back to Port Soller, in spite of feeling short the time there. We are sorry for the confusion on that day to find the bus. We will work on all this aspects to provide you with the best experience in your future trips with us. With regards, Fun and Tickets Team
Confirm your pick up point. It is very confusing at the port of Parma. We could never find the meeting point with the operator.
Dear Steven, We are sorry to hear that you could not find the meeting point. This is stated in the voucher. With regards, Fun and Tickets Team
