We will take you to discover the famous Soller Railway on this brand new half day tour. This is your chance to experience the more than 100-year old wooden carriage train in a half day tour that will have you back in resort in time to relax on the beach for the afternoon. Our vintage train, a living relic of Mallorca's history, offers you a rare opportunity to step back in time. Departing from Palma, this meticulously restored train takes you on a nostalgic ride, evoking the elegance and charm of a bygone era. As you recline in the plush, antique carriages, soak in the timeless ambiance and relish the breathtaking views unfurling beyond your window.
The journey is not just about the destination; it's a visual feast through Mallorca's most picturesque landscapes. Traverse through verdant valleys, winding through the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Marvel at the beauty of charming villages nestled in the hills and savor the sweet scent of citrus groves that adorn the countryside.
Arriving in Soller, you'll find yourself captivated by the town's undeniable charm. Stroll through narrow streets lined with traditional houses and discover local markets offering artisanal crafts and delectable treats. You will have approximately 25 minutes to enjoy Soller, the most stunning town in the Serra de Tramuntana, with its eclectic architecture and privileged location, surrounded by the impressive mountains. You will have time to stoll through the pretty streets, enjoy an ice cream made from the famous Soller oranges or visit the stunning church and main square.
Then we continue our adventure aboard the charming tram. Enjoy a scenic 25-minute journey through the picturesque valley, descending towards the enchanting Port Soller. Throughout the journey, the air is perfumed with the invigorating scent of citrus blossoms. The fertile valleys surrounding Soller are known for their abundant citrus groves, and the fragrance is a testament to the region's agricultural richness.
Take in the panoramic views of the port during our 25-minute stop, before we make our way back, ensuring you make the most of this unforgettable excursion. We will return from Port Soller by coach, back to our starting point arriving around 18:00-19:00.

Absolutely awful customer service. Missed coach back due to guides mis information, Left to fend by myself to get back to hotel over an hour away. No help or concern for my welfare. Disgraceful. Do not book
Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, your version of events is simply not accurate. There were 55 passengers on the excursion that day. Every single one of them was at the agreed meeting point at the agreed time except you. The guide clearly explained the meeting place and departure time, and all other guests managed to return without any issues. When you called the guide, the main problem was that you were unable to explain where you were. In fact, despite several attempts, neither the guide nor our office could determine your location because the information you provided was unclear and inconsistent. It is extremely difficult to help someone when they cannot identify where they are. Despite this, the guide remained at the meeting point for almost 15 minutes beyond the scheduled departure time, causing delays for the other passengers. Eventually, it became impossible to continue making dozens of other guests wait, and you were advised to take a taxi back. What is particularly surprising is that after the excursion you visited our office, where the situation was reviewed in detail, including the timings and sequence of events. During that conversation, it was acknowledged that the problem arose because your mother had become separated from the group and lost track of the meeting arrangements. To claim that you were abandoned, that nobody helped you, or that we showed no concern for your welfare is therefore completely contrary to what actually happened. Both the guide and our office assisted you throughout the situation, despite the fact that missing the departure was entirely outside our control. We understand that missing the coach was frustrating, but it is unfair to blame the company for an issue that resulted from not being at the agreed meeting point at the agreed time. — The Nofrills Excursions Team
I have absolutely loved my No Frills tour.On the way to Palma our fantastic tour guide: Camy told us some fantastic facts about the beautiful island of Mallorca.the train journey was fun and she give us some amazing advice about what we can do whilst waiting for the tram. At our final destination before heading home. She familiarised us with the area and again gave us some fascinating facts of the island coming home. Camy has made the day amazing. First, the good. I had to contact the tour company, and the lady in the office (sorry, i forgot your name) was very helpful. Also, the guide we had "Camy" was very helpful throughout. Unfortunately, the trip itself was not great. We were only given 25 minutes in Soller and a further 25 minutes at the harbour, which was not enough time. In addition, the tram ride to the harbour was a nightmare as the 2 tours were crammed into a two carriage tram, which was very uncomfortable and meant you could not see the surroundings. The final straw was that we were dropped off c20 kilometres from Palma and recommended to get a train back to Palma, which was where we were based on a cruise. Being of a certain age and not confident about the trains and where we might end up we decided to return to our cruise ship by taxi. This cost us €40!! This was recommended as a trip to do in Palma, but it is not degined for anyone who is actually in Palma. In summary, if you are in Palma, my suggestion is, DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP.

Regarding your comments, we’d like to clarify a few important details for future travelers as well: Our Half Day Soller Tour does not include pickup or drop-off in Palma, and this is clearly stated in the tour description on the website. The tour departs from the north of the island, and finishes by the train station at the Mallorca Fashion Outlet, as advertised. From there, the direct train to Palma takes 20 minutes and costs only €3. This is a simple and affordable connection that many of our guests use without issue. It’s unfortunate you opted for a taxi instead of the train, but our guide offered the best and most practical recommendation given the tour logistics. We understand the tram can feel busy during high season, especially as it’s a popular and iconic part of the experience. We try our best to make the ride enjoyable despite the occasional crowding, and we’re always working to improve comfort wherever possible. Picked up from our hotel , coach to train station in Palma, historic train to Soller, historic Tram from Soller to Port Soller, coach back to hotel, what’s not to like?. Only downside , would be better with a bit more time to explore Soller and Port Soller, but realise this would be difficult in a half day tour. Rep Marta great.

Palma has many things to do basically centered in the old town, around the cathedral. I recommend a guided tour because there is a lot to see and you are taken and forget where to park the car

this is a great tour, was inn fact a full day with boat, tram and train. the coach driver was very skilled at driving on the very bendy roads. the guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful for the whole day. this trim gives you enough free time in all the places and is good value for money

Tour went as it was suppose to,until the tour bus broke in Muro when coming back.Things like this happends,I understand,but for me it was quite dissapoint how it was handeled. We got new bus after 50 minutes waiting,thats okay. Since sun went down,it got dark,and I had no clue where are we as my first trip to Alcudia. My hotel stop was said,mut it was not the spot I have came in (No frills office near my hotel).I just freezed and thougt that maybe it is the next stop then. Guide came to upstairs and literally yelled me "Why are you in my bus!" I got confused and walked quicky out,had no idea where am I.The bus driver kindly told which direktion I should go. I found my hotel but experience was not good.As a female solo traveller,in strange place,dark,mobile phone battery empty,and late for 2 ours from chedule,it pissed me off. I managed it,but what if I were older or first time ever abroads? So that is why I can't recommend. Other things you should know: -The buss ride took 1.5 hour from Alcudia to Palma since there are very many stops!By public busses it's faster. -Tour is mainly planned for German,as most of the talk is german language.No harm for me,but it's quite noisy when all is quided first english and then longer version as germany.
