I just love this place, which is probably the only aquarium in the world I love. It is striking in its size - 2 floors Dubai mall . Especially I love sharks, I can just stay there for hours and watch their varieties. And if you go up to the second floor you can see baby sharks, rays and fish that are separate. It's just my love and my relax. You can also swim in the aquarium - go down in a spacesuit cage or in a capsule.
Dubai mall is impressive and huge, but the biggest mall worldwide to my surprise is in Iran. Anyway, walking at Dubai Mall is quite an experience. I was there with my girlfriend and met a couple of friends of mine who live in Dubai and we went together to the Aquarium, which is about 3 stories high and from the 2nd floor of the Mall you walk on the hallways and can see in some areas the huge fish tanks with live species like sharks stingrays and more fish swimming in front of your face. But once you get into the Aquarium is like been surrounded by the fish. They have also more animals that are not fish, like the biggest crocodile I have ever seen, about 12 feet or more, as its head easily reaches 36 inches. Jellyfish, starfish and a lot more species are there, and the penguins area is a blast. I can spend easily 6 or 7 hrs or more in there, just admiring all it offers. The Mall has an area of restaurants and cafeterias that face an artificial lake on one side, and opposite to the Mall a series of sky crappers elevate, been the most relevant the Burj Khalifa, with a fantastic sightseeing area in its 123th floor which offers incredible views of the city. Notice that the elevators are a display of high technology, as they do not clog your ears while going up or down all those stories at a very fast speed. Burj Khalifa is another display of excellent taste and architecture
