Your day pass includes return coach connections and vessel transfers. Malamala Island is situated on a little slice of heaven, just a short 25-minute vessel transfer from Port Denarau. Picture powder white sand and crystal clear water like a scene pulled straight from a postcard. Small enough to stroll barefoot around the island in 20 minutes, large enough to feel like your deserted paradise. Malamala Beach Club is fully equipped with everything you need to switch off, unwind and chill out. Eat & Drink Sunlight and breezy, our dining areas cater to anything from poolside snacking to relaxed seated dining. Inspired by our chefs’ rich experience throughout the South Pacific, each dish is balanced, nourishing, and full of fresh Pacific flavours. Expect small bites through to substantial sharing platters, with a few treats to satisfy your sweet tooth. The food menu is complemented by a selection of imported wines, beers, and handcrafted tropical cocktails.

Please note that the departure time shown on your tour is the VESSEL DEPARTURE TIME FROM PORT DEANRAU, NOT YOUR COACH PICK UP TIME. If you require a hotel pick up, please select your hotel from the list of pick-up points in your booking process. All coach transfers must be pre-booked with our reservations office at least the day before your tour. The coach pickups commence approximately 75minutes before the vessel departs from Port Denarau. Please check with our reservations team for your coach pickup time or refer to the South Sea Cruises coach timetable on our website for more info. HALF DAY PASS - ex Denarau, Nadi, or Wailoaloa - Complimentary coach transfers are provided to/from Nadi/Denarau, Wailoaloa hotels & resorts ONLY. Should you miss the complimentary coach transfer, you will need to find your own way to/from Port Denarau at your own cost. Please check with your hotel concierge for the exact pick-up time.

- Please bring swimsuit, towel, protective clothing from the sun including a hat and sunblock, light jacket or sweater during the cooler months, money or credit card for optional purchases, your camera and sense of fun!
- In the event of adverse weather and sea conditions, we retain the right to cancel all water-based activities, including snorkeling, paddleboarding and kayaking.

A splendid island where you can spend a few hours waiting for your international flight back or simply enjoy a nice day...
We did the half day Mala Mala experience. The island was very nice, the beach is a little rocky, but still worth a wander around. The pool areas were lovely, we spent most of the afternoon on the beach by the wharf and the adult pool. Service to both areas was easy with orders and delivery. The boat trip there and back was enjoyable. I would recommend the half day, a full day may be abit long as there isn’t alot to do on the island besides relaxing and swimming in the pools.
Easy 30 minute boat ride to the island. Beach shoes are important for going in the water, as lots of shells and coral. The Snorkeling was really enjoyable. A little misleading that the food and drinks option wasn't included in the package, when the reviews about this package mentioned that it was included. Take your own snacks/lunch, as food on the island is expensive. A nice place to relax, read a book, swim, snorkel etc. Not quite as picturesque as in the pics. Pick an area on the island away from the toilets to sit and relax, as they did have quite an odour to them.

There are hidden extra costs when you go there. Also service was very average and not the most helpful

This was a fantastic experience. Make sure you have all your sun-smart gear. We reserved poolside sunbeds and they were well worth it!. Snorkeling was okay - been to better spots. But the experience is all about the location, the service and the relaxing atmosphere. Thankyou.

I wasn’t sure if it would be worth the price, but it was. My teens really enjoyed it too. The water was so warm and clear. We snorkelled, swam, and kayaked in the ocean, we swam in the infinity pool, and enjoyed a meal and drinks. We were all so tired when we were headed home. But in a good way. We did the half day trip (12pm - 6pm).

Well organized however boat was over 30 minutes late departing. Pretty island and great pool but not all as pictured, many rocks and narrow beach. Waited 20 minutes for towels to go swimming and finally got our own. Rented day bed however half of it and feet exposed to sun. Food just ok.
