Itinerary
Plaza de la Merced is a public square located in the barrio La Merced in central Málaga, Spain. The plaza has been a part of the city since the city of Málaga's Roman era, and has been operating as a town market place since at least the fifteenth century.
Granada Street is a pedestrian street in the historic center of Malaga. It is one of the main roads of the old madina of Malaga, where the main palace houses of the time were settled.
Plaza de Toros Vieja is a neighborhood that belongs to the Centro district of the Andalusian city of Malaga, Spain. The origin of the name of the neighborhood is due to the street of the same name, which crosses it in a northwest-southeast direction, from Salitre street to the corridor of the Matadero. This street in turn was so named because in its vicinity was the first bullring in Malaga, which due to its proximity to the Convent of Carmen was called Plaza de Toros del Carmen.
The Port of Málaga is an international seaport located in the city of Málaga in southern Spain, on the Costa del Sol coast of the Mediterranean. It is the oldest continuously-operated port in Spain and one of the oldest in the Mediterranean. Principal port activities include cruise shipping and the importation of containerised manufactured products, break bulk and vehicles. A small fishing fleet also operates from the port.
The Plaza de la Marina is a square in the Centro district of the city of Malaga, Spain. It constitutes one of the neuralgic points of the city, since two important axes cross here: the Alameda Principal and the Paseo del Parque with some of the busiest streets of the historic center, such as Molina Lario street, and with the main access to the Port of Malaga.

It was a tour of Málaga that taught us about the main places and tourist attractions of Málaga. Desiree also provided us with historical information. Additionally, it was a very pleasant tour.
Borja greeted us at our hotel on time and walked us through the city. We had booked three hours and I had explained that we wanted a good understanding of the history of the area and to be shown all of the main sites to orientate ourselves in a city we’d not visited before. He delivered with aplomb. A brief stop in the museum (just an extra €1.50 each) to start and then a full tour of the city, referring back to all that we’d discussed and seen at the museum. Malaga is beautiful, has an incredible depth of history and Borja really brought it to life. A very personal experience that we highly recommend.
We had less than 24 hours in Malaga so I wanted to make sure we made the best use of our time. Booking this was definitely well worth it! Our tour guide David picked us up at the hotel and took us on our way! I loved that we could customize the tour to what we wanted to see and then he added some recommendations based on what we wanted. The beautiful sites, added history made me want to book my next stay in Malaga! My husband and I Throughly enjoyed this!
This was a perfect introduction to the city of Malaga. José was an amazing guide giving lots of history about the city. He was also great in recommending places to visit and restaurants to go to. He was animated and really made this tour so interesting and enjoyable.
Borja was an outstanding tour guide for our private walking tour in Málaga! He was knowledgeable, personable, and did a great job bringing the city’s history, culture, and local character to life. We appreciated that the tour felt personal and thoughtful, not scripted or rushed. He shared great insight into Málaga while also pointing out unique local highlights and recommendations that we likely would not have discovered on our own. Borja made the experience enjoyable, relaxed, and memorable from start to finish. Highly recommend Borja to anyone looking for a private walking tour in Málaga.
Borja was our guide and he was really really great! Probably the best tour we’ve had in Spain. At the start, Borja asked what we wanted to see of Malaga and then took us to all the best spots. So it seemed very personalized. Also, his English was the best we’ve encountered. He even texted with us afterward giving us some great advice on what to do on our other days in Malaga. I would highly recommend this tour!!
Samuel tailored the tour to us. Thank you Samuel for our memories and pictures We learned so much about the city.
Nice walk with a guide over the city of Malaga. I recommend our tour guide Will, he was very nice and friendly.
Wil was great. Such a nice, patient young man who showed us the sights in Malaga and got us the best cheesecake as well as took us to a superb restaurant for lunch before saying good-bye. What else can I say? Wil made all the difference
David speaks very good French and is very attentive to requests. He also has a lot of humor and wit! I highly recommend it.
