Went in a group of 5 family members on this cooking class tour led by Elias and Rodrigo. They were absolutely fantastic and everything from the market tour through the hands on experience of cooking was amazing. The meal at the end was delicious and we are so excited to be able to take home a jar of the mole we made, as well as the printed recipe to make it again in the future. For the rest of the day, everyone kept saying, “wow what a grade class we had”. Highly recommend this activity!!

We had a great time learning to make mole with Martin ! He was a great instructor, very thorough in his instructions, we did a lot of hands on which helps learn the process. We had a blast , our mole was delicious ! We hope Martin will offer other classes in Mexican cooking because we will definitely sign up for more !

Our instructor, Elias, was an amazing teacher. He was so knowledgeable about the history of this Mayan delicacy and made the experience so much fun with the trip to the mercado to shop for the ingredients we would need to make our own Mole to take home. It was a history lesson in action and done with an incredible sense of humor! I highly recommend this to anyone wanting knowledge, hands-on cooking and pure fun.

This was a wonderful experience, learning about all that goes into making mole sauce. Our guide and chef,Elias, was very knowledgeable and an expert on all the ingredients. Our time at the market was very informative, and all of us had hands-on experience during the cooking. And then we got to eat chicken with mole with Spanish rice afterwards. Very impressive class and so much fun. We also each got a jar of the mole sauce we made. Take this class, he won’t be disappointed.

Great experience! We had no idea how many ingredients were involved and the many different steps in the cooking process. We enjoyed the local market, the history shared by Martin our host. Eating our homemade mole was the perfect finale!

Best way to dive into your PV experience. Started at a local market sourcing ingredients. Then divided all tasks and cooked an amazing mole together. Our chef/guide, Martin was a lover of PV, food, culture and history. He merged information from all these categories into the three hours we spent together. We are three friends who love to cook. We enjoyed every component of this class and the mole was exceptional. The shop also offers many unique chocolate products.

This class completely and utterly exceeded our expectations. The tour to the local market to buy ingredients was a real treat. The cooking kitchen has fabulous views. The wonderful talented Zoar our chef was charming, funny and easy to understand with her stories and instructions. Our market tour guide Elias was a smart funny knowledgeable guy. The mole poblano sauce was the best I have ever had. It’s not an everyday dish. Learning what goes into and how to make it was a real joy. Highly recommend this class. So much fun.
