This tour not only takes you to the popular tourist spots but also introduces you to some of Santorini hidden gems. Megalochori, for example, was a delightful surprise.
We group of four adults were thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. From the moment we boarded the comfortable air conditioned vehicle and our guide Maria welcomed us warmly and set the tone for an incredible day. She answered all oir questions, provided insider tips and so much time for photos.
Throughout our trip the warmth and hospitality of the locals made us feel right at home. Their recommendations for hidden gems and favourite spots truly enhanced our experience.
If you're a first time visitor to Santorini, this tour is a must do. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable making the experience hassle free.
The itinerary was perfectly planned, allowing us to experience the best of this stunning island. Our knowledgeable guide shared fascinating insights about Santorini's history and culture, making the experience even more enriching.
Our tour guide was amazing, patient and funny. He made sure that we had a good time while offering to take each group’s picture. He managed to visit all the spots planned with us even though the tour started 2 hours late. For first time cruisers, Santorini pier is very small and depending on the time of the year, disembarkation may take a long time, make sure to plan accordingly.
Once we surpassed the excessive waiting time for the tenders and the cable car lines, our tour guide tried his best to accommodate as many stops as possible using the remainder of the time we had left; we did pay for at least five hours to move around Santorini but it was cut down to approximately 3 hours.
Thank you for your kind words about your guide, who made every effort to maximize your remaining time in Santorini. We regret the delays you experienced with tendering and the cable cars, which required us to wait for an additional two hours. As a result, we had to shorten your tour to ensure you returned to the ship with ample time before departure. Safe travels!
First time in Santorini and I didn't know we have to take a tender boat to get to the dock and from the dock we had to go to the cable car station. First I asked how long they would wait as I couldn't get on the tender boat til almost 1:45pm, and our meeting time was 2pm. The agent got back to me saying that they would wait until 3:20pm. We got up to the cable car station 5 minutes after 3 and the last tour has already left. If I have known earlier I would have booked the excursions through the cruise ship. Make sure you allow yourself lots of time if booking third party excursions.
We regret to learn that you were not briefed on the tendering process, which is the sole means of disembarking from any cruise ship visiting Santorini. Allow me to address each of your concerns thoroughly: 1) We do not operate tenders ourselves, as this responsibility lies with the cruise lines and their ships. However, it is indeed perplexing that you were able to board the tender from your ship arrived at 11:00 AM, only at 1:45 PM. 2) Meanwhile, the other 86 participants booked with us, encountered no difficulties arriving on time, utilizing both tenders and cable cars. 3) It is accurate that we informed you of our last bus departing at 3:20 PM, and it did so punctually. However, based on the call we received on our emergency line at 3:47 PM, it appears that you took considerably longer to reach the designated pickup point. 4) Referring to our services as a third-party experience and advocating for overpriced, crowded ship excursions raises suspicions of being affiliated with a cruise line. Are you perhaps a representative or a spy?:-) LOL We wish you safe travels!
This was a great tour. The tour guide was great. She took photos of us, as I believe she said she was a photographer also. The pictures came out great. Very knowledgeable about the island of Santorini.
