Explore the capital of Ithaca, Vathi with its traditional Venetian settlement. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise and swim on a secluded beach on your way to Kioni Village.
Next, ascend to the Kathara Monastery, perched at the island’s highest point. Here, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Ithaca’s rugged hills, turquoise coves, and surrounding islands. Take time for photos and soak in the serene atmosphere of this historic monastery.
In the amphitheatrically picturesque village of Kioni, you will have free time to enjoy your coffee & snacks!
Stavros village is a charming village that stands at the foot of Neritos Hill, at an altitude of 110 meters above the sea, overlooking Polis Bay.
The beautiful village of Frikes which lies deep into the bay is ideal to enjoy your lunch next to the anchored fish boats.

Pick-up time & location will be provided 24 hours prior to the excursion date via WhatsApp message or phone call from our office. The bus will have a sign of our company logo. If your area is not listed please contact us to let you know the nearest pick up location. If you are staying in Lixouri and you wish to attend this excursion pick up is at Argostoli Port. For this tour, pick-up service is not available from the villages of Agia Efimia, Fiscardo, and Assos due to their location outside our designated pick-up zones. Due to the ferry schedule to Ithaca, we have arranged an early pick-up for the tour. This adjustment ensures that all participants can comfortably board the ferry on time and enjoy a full day of exploration on the beautiful island of Ithaca. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making the necessary arrangements for an early start, allowing us to provide you with an enjoyable and seamless travel experience. This tour is not suitable for cruise passengers due to time constraints. We recommend considering other options that better accommodate your schedule.

The itinerary included time in Kioni which was the main reason for choosing this trip. We arrived at 12.40, it took a couple of minutes to get off the boat and we were told to meet at the clock tower at 1pm which did not give us anytime to look around. On our arrival in Frikes we were advised to go to a particular taverna, there are only 2, which was okay apart from the excessive number of wasps. We were told not to visit the other one as someone who used that taverna last year had food poisoning, not very professional from the tour guide. After leaving, we arrived at our next stop after a 20 minute journey and were advised to go to a particular cafe for coffee and cakes, we had a 50 mins stay but there wasn’t very much to see. We felt that our visit to Ithaca was based around recommended eateries, but it didn’t give us time to look around and see anything else. The visit to Vathy and boat trip were both very good, but overall a very disappointing day.

This is an excellent tour to relax in Ithaca. Please be aware that approximately 10 is the tour be mindful of where you are being picked up from hotel the total day can be 12.5 hours for a hotel pickup on the other side of the island. The knowledge of the guid was amazing and the driver was extremely skilled. The beaches were stunning and definitely no need to take and food or drinks lots of amazing cafes, restaurants and shops on the tour. Enjoy by all aged 13-40s 🙂
