Ideal if you're time-poor

It is a good tour to see a few key attractions if you are time-poor, or need to make the most of 3 hours between arrival in Madrid and hotel check-in like us. The drive/guide was courteous, knowledgeable and professional, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable for the 6 of us with 10 pieces of luggage. We were picked-up from the airport and dropped off at the hotel, so it was extremely convenient for us. And we certainly got a glimpse of the new and the old of Madrid. However, there is some room for improvement. Even though there was hardly any traffic on Christmas day, we didn't get to see La Latina, the final attraction, as we were short of time. The driver was supposed to meet us at arrivals at 9am, but called at 9am asking us to meet at the carpark instead. As first-timers in Madrid, for that matter Spain, and having flown over 21 hours to get there, it wasn't the start we were expecting.

Operator response

Dear Milk1969, Thank you for the feedback. I did not know the driver asked you to meet him at the car park. The standards of our services are to always meet our guest at the exit door and help them and escort to the car, some rules can not be broken. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and make sure this won´t happens again.

Fabulous tour

We had a private tour with Andres and it was perfect from start to finish! He speaks great English and is easy to organise things with beforehand. We did the tour on our first day in Madrid so we were able to get our bearings and we were so glad we did, Andres took us to some places that we’d never have found on our own. We’d asked Andres to provide some bubbles and tapas meats and it was all great! Would definitely contact Andres for another tour when back in Madrid!
