Experience the awe-inspiring Inca ruins of Machu Picchu, known as one of the New 7 Wonders of the modern world, on a full-day tour by the Expedition Train. Situated on a mountain ridge above the Sacred Valley, this well-preserved relic of Inca civilization is South America’s most popular attraction, receiving an estimated 5,000 visitors daily. The Expedition Train, a fantastic train class provided by Perurail, offers a comfortable and stylish way to witness the wonder of Machu Picchu while passing through remote villages and historic sites, providing stunning views of the Andean landscape. Note: Passport photo is required to purchase tickets. We offer 3 Machu Picchu circuits: Circuit 1: Panoramic views, no temple visits. Circuit 2: Full tour with postcard photo and temple visits. BOOK 5 month in advance. Circuit 3: Lower entrance, no access to the photo platform, but includes temple visits. Please send your passport photos once you have made the reservation to arrange your trip.

Your adventure to Machu Picchu begins with a meeting point pick-up between 4:30 am and 4:45 am, setting off for a train journey filled with stunning vistas.
En route, you'll be captivated by the Inca landscape featuring snow-capped peaks, lush sub-tropical jungles, and ancient Inca agricultural terraces. The train brings you to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, where your guide will be waiting to escort you on a 25-minute bus ride to the Machu Picchu citadel.
Upon arrival, you'll embark on a 3-hour guided tour of the site. Your guide will enlighten you on Inca history and culture, highlighting the citadel's key areas. Post-tour, you'll have leisure time to wander and discover Machu Picchu at your own pace. Back in Aguas Calientes, you have the option to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Your return journey commences with a train ride back to Ollantaytambo, departing either at 16:22 pm. or 6:10pm From there, depending on the availability, bus will ensure your smooth transfer back to meeting point, concluding your memorable excursion.

The people at this organisation were massively helpful from start to finish. We booked the full day Machu Picchu Tour but did it over two days booking or own accommodation. I had a lot of queries and they were always on hand with expert help and advice. They supported me with decisions and were really understanding and patient. The driver who collected us and the one who took us back were both lovely, the Peru Rail journey was fantastic and Machu Picchu its self was incredible. A big shout out to our guide Isao who was really knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and was massively helpful. He made some fantastic recommendations of things to do in Aguas Calientes and we loved spending time with him. All in all this was a fabulous trip and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company. I was a member of a lot of Machu Picchu advice groups on Facebook and I have seen countless people being let down by disreputable companies. Isao was a great tour guide for Machu Piccho- very informative, educational, and caring with those in our party who are elderly. He went above and beyond with getting my group to the timed tour of Macchu Picchu and with the train/bus transportation- especially when one of our party was late due to flight issues! Very impressed with the tour group/tour guide. Would 100% recommend.
