This private guided sightseeing tour starts with a comfortable drive that passes most of the must-see attractions in Stockholm. It gives you a nice overview over the city. Then the driver takes you to The Royal Domain of Drottningholm which was the first site in Sweden to be listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage. The castle was first built in the end of the seventeenth century and then the queen Ulrika Eleonora ordered the transformation of the interior to what has become the finest example of an 18th-century northern European royal residence that has been inspired by the Palace of Versailles. Besides the palace, the site holds a perfectly preserved theatre from 1766, an amazing Chinese pavilion from 1770 and a grand baroque garden. Today the castle serves as the permanent residence of the present royal family. A must see when you are in Stockholm.

We will visit the largest medieval city centre of Stockholm that is is Gamla Stan, it is one of the most beautiful and famous places in the Swedish capital. It was at this location in 1252 Stockholm was founded. It is the district with cobbled narrow streets, ancient houses and monuments, like the medieval spirit.
We will pass by the famous and city mains Cathedral - gorgeous Storkyrkan
After we will see from the outside the Nobel Prize museum where the annual Nobel Prize ceremony takes place every year
We will check major attraction in the area of the Royal Palace is a residence of the Swedish monarchs, located on the waterfront of the island of Stadsholmen

Great tour! Our wonderful guide met us with a sign at the port and whisked us away to show off the highlights of Stockholm. She gave us a lot of great info about the city and about the history of the castle. Our driver was very courteous and the vehicle was super clean! Highly recommend!

We loved our city tour with Sofia (Sophia) and our driver (sorry, I’m forgetting his name but he was great too). She really made Sweden’s history come alive and made the morning fly by. Both also made sure that we avoided all the major crowds so the tour felt more intimate and we got great photo opportunities. Highly recommended!

<p>We booked this tour through Viator local tour company was Easy Travel I had a question and emailed Easy Travel. Within an hour they responded! They were at our hotel at the agreed pick up time. Jimmy the driver and Jorge they tour guide were both great. They were both friendly and informative. We had a private tour for the 5 of us in a clean Mercedes van with snacks and water provided by the tour. Jorge took us on a tour of Drottningholm Palace and was a great guide.They took us to a few scenic spots for photos then on a walking tour of old town. We loved this tour and our guides.
