Luxury Hunter Valley Tour | Small Grp, Gin, & Lunch Stop | Sydney

Description
Your guide Daniel collects you from your Sydney CBD hotel in a luxury Mercedes van for a full day in the Hunter Valley. This small-group tour (max 11 guests) visits three handpicked cellar doors — Krinklewood's stunning Provençal estate, the refined 1813 at Tinonee, and the architecturally striking Keith Tulloch Wine. At Keith Tulloch, an artisan chocolatier is on site and you can add a craft gin tasting at no extra charge. Lunch is at Café Enzo — a Hunter Valley institution since 1996, set in a sandstone Tuscan courtyard in Pokolbin. Homemade food, local produce, generous plates. Guests pay on the day. No crowded tourist stops. No rushed tastings. Just an elevated day in the valley with a guide who genuinely knows it.

Itinerary
At 8:00 AM your journey begins as your driver/guide collects you from your designated pickup address in Sydney CBD in a luxury, air conditioned mini van. Enjoy the scenery as we head up the coast towards the beautiful Hunter Valley. The drive is approximately 2 1/2 hours. *We pick you up and drop you back to your specified Sydney or Hunter Valley address - hotel, Airbnb, private residence. Choose from our list of hotels or specify your address at the time of booking.
By 11:00 AM you'll arrive at your first destination—Krinklewood Estate. A hidden gem surrounded by Provençal-style gardens where peacocks roam freely. Here, you’ll indulge in an elegant wine tasting, perfectly paired with a locally sourced cheese and charcuterie board if you wish. Sip slowly as you'll be here for 1 1/2 hours. The perfect amount of time to enjoy the wine at an unhurried pace, take in the stunning atmosphere, and grab some Instagram-worthy photos in the grounds. Please note that cellar door visits may occasionally change on the day due to private events or venue availability. Rest assured, we work closely with a curated network of exceptional wineries and will always select outstanding alternatives to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
At 12:00, we head to 1813, an elegant boutique cellar door set among the vines of Tinonee Vineyard Estate. Relax and enjoy a wine tasting experience in their air-conditioned cellar door during the warmer months and fireside on the adjoining terrace during the cooler months, whilst admiring the picturesque scenery and spectacular sandstone formation known as Yellow Rock. Please note that cellar door visits may occasionally change on the day due to private events or venue availability. Rest assured, we work closely with a curated network of exceptional wineries and will always select outstanding alternatives to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
By 1:30 PM it’s time for a long, indulgent lunch. Nestled inside the Tuscan-inspired sandstone complex of Peppers Creek Village on Broke Road, Café Enzo has been one of the Hunter Valley's most-loved dining spots since 1996. The menu is built around locally sourced, homemade cooking — think generous plates, great coffee, and an alfresco courtyard that makes you want to linger. It's a genuine institution in the valley, known as much for its atmosphere and hospitality as for the food itself. Guests order and pay on the day.
After Lunch we step into the polished calm of Keith Tulloch Wine—an architecturally striking, light-filled space framed by mountain views and sculpted lawns. This is a place where every detail feels intentional, from the clean lines of the tasting room to the quiet hum of a family estate that takes its craft seriously. Settle in for a guided tasting of their beautifully made wines, and, if you’d like to elevate the experience, you can opt to sample a selection of boutique gins crafted in partnership with local distillers. Before we depart, take a moment to browse the on-site artisan chocolatier, where handcrafted pieces offer the perfect finish to this elegant stop. Please note that cellar door visits may occasionally change on the day due to private events or venue availability. Rest assured, we work closely with a curated network of exceptional wineries and will always select outstanding alternatives to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
You'll depart the Hunter Valley at approximately 4pm and will return to Sydney CBD at around 6pm

Daniel and Kylie were our guides. We couldn’t have asked for better guides. They knew about all the wineries and selected the very best. We were treated like VIPs all along the trip. The lunch was very good at Enzo. Warning… The portions are humongous. We had so much fun. We highly recommend this tour.
Lorri, thank you so much — what a joy to read! We had such a wonderful day with you and Mike and it was a pleasure to show you some of our favourite cellar doors. We love that you felt like VIPs — that's exactly the experience we want every guest to have. And yes, Enzo is something of a legend for good reason — the food is exceptional, and the portions are... generous, to say the least! We're so glad lunch was a highlight. Thank you for the recommendation and we hope to see you back in the Hunter Valley again soon. Enjoy the rest of your trip! Kylie & Daniel
I have been on a number of wine tours and far and away this was the most professional, pleasant and enjoyable. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a low key, informative and pleasant day visiting the Hunter Valley.
Thank you so much for this — it genuinely means a lot coming from someone who has done a number of wine tours. That's exactly the kind of day we set out to create every time: relaxed, personal, and with enough knowledge shared along the way to make every glass more interesting. We hope we get to welcome you back to the Hunter Valley again one day. 🍷 Kylie & Daniel Coast to Cork
Highly recommend. A great wine tasting experience. We were picked up in Sydney in a comfortable Mercedes 9 seater. Visited 3 cellar doors with some great wines and had a lovely lunch. Daniel is the perfect guide and Lydia is super helpful with her communications and details for the tour.
Thank you so much for your lovely review — we really appreciate the recommendation! We’re so glad you enjoyed the day from start to finish, especially the mix of cellar doors and that long, relaxed lunch (always a highlight 🍷). It’s great to hear the Mercedes made for a comfortable journey too — we want the whole experience to feel easy and enjoyable from the moment you’re picked up. Daniel will be delighted to hear your kind words, and I truly appreciate the mention as well — making everything smooth and clear in the lead-up is such an important part of the experience for us. Thanks again for joining us, and we’d absolutely love to have you back for another day in the Hunter!
Pickup at the hotel was great and easy. Wineries chosen especially the Thomas Allen winery (which was outstanding) were all good. The bonus was seeing kangaroos in the wild. They were just outside of a winery resting in the shade. It was the icing on the cake.
Thanks so much for the lovely review! We’re really glad the hotel pickup was smooth and that you enjoyed the winery selection — Thomas Allen is a standout, so it’s great to hear it made an impression. And spotting kangaroos in the wild really is the perfect bonus — those moments are such a special part of the Hunter Valley experience. Thanks again for joining us, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime. Cheers, Kylie & Daniel Coast to Cork 🍷
6 stars! Coast to cork messaged us the night before with an exact pick up time and Daniel met us on time. The Mercedes van was very nice and clean, I had a nice wine nap on the way back to Sydney. Daniel is so nice and was cool to chat with, he told us stories of Australia and Australian wine. He took us to Vinden (our favorite), Keith Tolluch (where we had an awesome lunch) and Thomas Allen (where we bought the most bottles). Each winery was passionate about wine making and the experiences they provided, each host was super knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks again Daniel and Cork to Coast, we had such a great trip! We highly recommend.
Wow — 6 stars, we’ll take it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks so much for such a generous and detailed review. We’re really glad everything ran smoothly from pickup to drop-off (and that the wine nap on the way back to Sydney hit the spot!). Daniel will love hearing you enjoyed the stories, the chats, and of course the winery lineup — Vinden, Keith Tulloch and Thomas Allen are all favourites for a reason. It’s great to hear the passion of the cellar door teams came through and that you found a few bottles worth taking home too. Thanks again for choosing to tour with us and for the recommendation — we’d love to welcome you back anytime. Cheers, Kylie & Daniel Coast to Cork 🍷
The drive to the Hunter Valley was entertaining, you had a good impression of the scenery - the guide gave us interesting background information about the area and the history of the winegrowing and the individual wineries that emerged here - all around it was a sensual, culinary experience in beautiful locations! It was one of the highlights of our 4day Sydney stay!

It was a delightful trip with 3 wineries that are not so commercialised. The wines were great. During the drive, you could see wild kangaroos too. Our guide Daniel was friendly and did his best to make customers happy.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re so glad you enjoyed the day, especially discovering some of the more boutique, less commercialised wineries we love to showcase.
