Great value tour with Mohammed to Luxor West Bank

We had a West Bank tour of Luxor with Mohammed and he was great. He arrived at our Nile cruise on-time and the car was new and clean. Our cruise was quite a bit outside Luxor but that wasn’t an issue for him. He took us to the temples and tombs explaining the history of each site and giving us some great insights. Also took some great photos for us. Only downside for us was a visit to a ‘gift shop’ on-route who tried to charge us a laughable amount for a vase (£400!) but they provided some drinks thanks to our guide so wasn’t a big issue. I’d definitely recommend Mohammed for any tours in Luxor. Thank you.

Great Guide and Wonderful Day in Luxor

Mohamed was knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to spend the day with. We enjoyed our tour and learned a great deal. The only downside was a stop at a local shop that used high-pressure sales tactics and misleading claims, but otherwise we had a very positive experience and would recommend him.

Amazing tour guide in Luxor

My husband & I had the best day with Mohamed as our guide. We visited the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak Temple as well as a lovely lunch & boat trip of the Nile. Mohamed was very knowledgeable & gave us a lot of information about all of the sites we visited as well as answering any questions we had. He was very personable and gave the right mix of information but also free time to explore the different places by ourselves (armed with his insightful information). We would highly recommend Mohamed & when we come back to Egypt we will definitely book another tour with him.

A good Luxor experience

Mohamed took very good care of us. He is a registered tour guide and very flexible. We did the itinerary shown in his Viator add for one morning. He also took us to fair trade alabaster and cotton artisans. After that, we contracted with him for another morning of seeing additional sites in the West Bank, and he helped set up transportation for us to Luxor Temple and the train station.

Excellent Tour Guide

We had a number of different guides in Egypt and Mohammed was our favorite. We had him for 4 days and he took us to Karnak and Luxor temples one day, the Valley of the Kings the second, to Abydos and Dendara one, and finally more sites on the West Bank the last day. He was very friendly and had a good mix of information mixed with time for us to explore on our own. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable, even to the extent of buying us our sodas so we could get the price the locals get, and warned off overly aggressive hawkers. We felt very well-cared for!
