Listen carefully to the stories and legends to be told by your tour guide, take memorial photos between its huge columns and obelisks.
In your way to Luxor temple, stop to see the avenue of sphinxes, once linked the two temples together for the ancient Egyptians New Year festival.
Then, move to Luxor Temple, that was built by king Amonhotep III from the 18th. dynasty and completed by the great king Ramesses II during the 19th dynasty, where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Admire its obelisk and well preserved statues. At the end, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.

Hatem Ibraheem has made our experience visiting Luxor an amazing one! He was very punctual and courteous, as well as very knowledgeable and approachable. He shared a lot of information with us, in an entertaining way, and answered all of our questions in an engaging manner. Hatem's command of English is really good. Time flew, while visiting both Karnak and Luxor temples thanks to Hatem's keeping a great pace between providing information and giving us time to take in the views. It is worth mentioning that he picked us up in a very comfortable and clean vehicle, driven by another gentleman, so that even the ride back and forth to the temples was enjoyable. Highlight of my trip to Luxor this week! Hatem is absolutely amazing and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I am not a history buff, and don’t typically enjoy museums or any sightseeing on holiday. *However* i was blown away but Hatem’s knowledge and ability to engage his audience (private tour so no large group) - he also knew all the best Instagram spots for photo ops (he is also an amazing photographer in general, so ladies, this is a huge plus!!). He also made sure to point out ticket pricing at each site so we were reassured we weren’t getting overcharged.Karnak temple was truly jaw dropping. Worth every penny!
My friend and I visited Luxor, Egypt for the first time. We were a bit cautious after all the research we had done and decided to book a tour guide to visit Karnak and Luxor temples. If you have time, it's nice to split the West and East Bank into two days. Our guide for both (Hatem), was superb.
