and Authentic Jamaican Experience (10/10!)We had an absolutely incredible time on the Great River rafting tour! It was the perfect blend of relaxation and authentic Jamaican culture. Our raft captain was knowledgeable and attentive, providing a wonderful tour along the peaceful river while sharing interesting history, and the limestone foot massage was the perfect finishing touch
Excellent tour! It ended up being approx a 12 hour day for us, but it was awesome! Started in Negril. Got picked up early to avoid the rain. Had a lovely cruise down river! Limestone foot massage was so needed and so good! Then we were off to the Hip Strip. Lunch at margarita ville, the onion rings were delicious! Next, over to Doctor’s Cave Beach Club. Something about the way you can just bob in the water there in such stillness. It’s very grounding and peaceful. I have to say that the bioluminescence lagoon was magical! The water changes temperature as you move. The cold from the river, then you move to stir the plankton and it gets hot, like you’re sitting in a thermal bath. Definitely an experience of a lifetime! There are additional costs involved, but worth the tour! Javaughn (apologies for a misspelling) guided us through the day and made extra effort picking us up early so we didn’t get stuck in the rain on the tour. He’s awesome! Don’t miss this!
