This tour is in scenic downtown Ketchikan in the Thomas Basin historic district, home to the Salmon Fishing Fleet and Crab Fishing Boats. You will be hosted at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show Arena and Harbor Haus Pavilion, landmarks of industry, food, and entertainment. Your tour starts at the historic site of the Spruce Mill, once the largest Sitka Spruce Mill in the World and now the home to the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. This world-famous Lumberjack Show has World Champion athletes in a rowdy, no holds barred competition with twelve events such as chopping, climbing, sawing, axe throwing, and log rolling. Get all your rowdy friends together and join in the Alaskan axe-tion in this amazing competition of skill and strength. The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show reflects upon southeast Alaska’s rich logging history and comes to life with thrilling displays of strength and agility. These world champion athletes wearing spiked boots & hard hats compete in 12 athletic events that utilize seven-pound axes, six-foot razor sharp saws, tree climbing gaffs, and souped up chainsaws. Your cheers will turn to roars of excitement as axes fly through the air, men free fall from tall trees, and then run atop spinning logs floating in the water. The show is held in a covered, heated, and cushioned grandstand that includes a rustic lodge gift shop and full concession. This will be one hour of action, excitement, and laughs that is unique to all of Alaska.
All-You-Can-Eat Dungeness Crab Feast! The Harbor Haus will be your destination to experience the most pristine Dungeness Crab feast. While looking out over the harbor filled with commercial fishing boats, watch as the daily catch is brought to the docks. Your meal includes salad with Asian style dressing, all-you-can-eat Dungeness Crab, baby red potatoes, and delicious carrot cake! After the meal, you are within downtown Ketchikan, surrounded by totem poles, Creek Street, jumping salmon and shopping.

Seating was great and had cushions on benches. The show was competitive and interactive. We had a lot of laughs and good family fun.
This was a fun experience, very engaging, and gun to watch. The crab was great as well. Plenty to eat!
great show Lady MC was outstanding. The food was not like I had ever had before a great show teaching us how to eat crab and then the crab was wow was it was good and it was truly all you can eat . We had been traveling for 28 hours to get there and we were hungry. the show was at 11:15 in the morning and it's now the next day and I am still full off crab

The lumberjack show was fun but a little hokey. The crab feast was great though! All you can eat Dungeness crab was the highlight for sure.
Loved loved loved the show. Very entertaining to watch these lumberjacks go through each physically demanding event. We had a great time cheering on Team USA and learning about the historical facts for each event of the show. The crab fest was delicious as well with basically all you can eat crab legs so long as you are up for all of the cracking and peeling of shells work.

Great value for meal and show.
First off, this is for the lumberjack show only. We were reserved for the 12:45 PM show on Sunday, May 24th. We arrived in plenty of time to check out the gift shop, in fact we were the first in line to enter the show area. As soon as we walked in, we were told that the AYCE crab meal for our show was cancelled. So we were hit with a decision to either do the crab feast with the audience of the previous show or watch the Lumberjack Show. We chose to the the crab feast. So dissapointing that no advance notice was given to at least change our show time to experience what we paid for. As of today, Thursday, May 28th, I still have not received my credit for the lumberjack show refund! As for the Crab Feast at Harbor Haus, I got nothing but good things to say. The staff was entertaining and the food was good. Dungeness Crab was plentiful and we were stuffed.
