Itinerary
Our first stop is Caelum, a family project located on route 7 (road from Buenos Aires leading to Chilean border). The project was born in 2009. Respecting the environment and maintaining a family structure to ensure the care of each bottle with passion, the winery offers high quality white and red wines, and yummy pistachios. The name “Caelum” is due to a constellation that can be seen only from this part of the hemisphere representing the chisel used by the artist to paint. They think the hands which help to make the wine are the chisel of our industry.
Second stop at Casarena ; this winery represents one of the most accomplished faces of the Mendoza wine renaissance. Established on a century-old cellar in Agrelo, the winery has preserved the heritage of its old vines while infusing them with contemporary energy. The wines, crafted by a young and talented team, reflect the diversity of the Luján soils.
Finally, we arrived at Finca Minimal for a 6 courses gourmet lunch. This micro winery coexists with limited production of organic and natural premium wines, artisanal production of high-end goat cheeses, and a unique food and wine proposal, immersed in an organic Malbec vineyard from 1905.

Incredible experience. We had the opportunity to tour three places with Stephane. His high level expertise in food and wines weave us a unique experience you can’t get with most tours, but we still felt comfortable and enjoyed it as wine novices. The best part was the wide array of conversations we had about things much beyond wine. 10/10 experience - definitely book this if you have the chance.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! I’m truly happy to read that you felt both comfortable and engaged throughout the day, regardless of your wine background. For me, wine is always a starting point, but the real richness of these experiences comes from the people, the conversations, the shared curiosity and the moments in between. Spending the day with you, talking about far more than just wine, is exactly what makes these tours special and meaningful to me. Thank you again for your trust and your openness. I hope our paths cross again someday, around a glass of wine… or another great conversation. Warm regards, Stéphane
We had an excellent experience with Stéphane on this tour! My partner and I were met with friendly, knowledgeable hosts at each winery that provided in-depth knowledge of the winery, history, and culture surrounding the experience. The food at the lunch was truly unparalleled- the spread featured modern takes on Argentinian classics with locally sourced, fresh ingredients that complemented the provided wines beautifully. This tour is great for folks looking to experience something beyond the industrial winery tours- with each spot feeling familial and extremely personal. We would enthusiastically repeat this experience and recommend to anyone.
Dear Francis! What a pleasure to read your message, it honestly made my day. I’m thrilled that you and your partner connected with the spirit of this tour: leaving behind the massive, touristy circuits and diving into something much more personal, intimate, and truly top-level. That’s exactly the idea: small wineries where the hosts know their craft, their history, and their land, and where the experience feels human, genuine, and tailored for real wine lovers and food enthusiasts. And of course, pairing it all with a lunch that reflects the best of local cuisine, elevated but still authentic. It means a lot to know that this approach resonated with you. I’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime for another unforgettable day(s) in Mendoza. A huge thank you for the review . Cheers to many more great wines ahead! 🍷
We spent two days with Stephane and had a great time. Stephane communicated well with us in advance to cate the tour to our specific taste of wine. We had the wine tour in Uco valley (2 wineries and lunch) on day 1 and a tour of the pre-Andes and lunch on day 2. Both were of excellent quality. He is very reliable, very knowledgeable, and fun. The Wine tasting at Bodega Piedra Negra was especially impressive. On day 2 we had a fabulous very creatively crafted lunch at a place that we would have never found on our own. The chef offered incredible food beyond the typical beef steak and we had a very good wine pairing. We can full heartedly recommend Stephane.
Thank you so much, Alfred, for taking the time to share your experience. It was a real pleasure spending those two days with you both and tailoring the tour to your personal taste in wine. I work a little differently from the traditional tour agencies in Mendoza. As sommelier and long-time wine professional, I curate winery visits that focus on character, great terroirs and meaningful stories. This also allows us to arrange premium tastings of top cuvées, older vintages and more exclusive selections that are usually not available on regular tours. I’m especially happy to hear how much you enjoyed the tasting at Piedra Negra and the gastronomic lunch on day two. One of our goals is to introduce guests to more creative and authentic cuisine — going beyond the typical bodega restaurant experience — and it means a lot that you appreciated that approach. Thank you again for your trust and your kind recommendation. I hope to welcome you back to Mendoza for more wine adventures in the future. Stéphane
I loved every single moment! Thanks, Andrea, for being such a knowledgeable, patient and lovely guide! I learned so much today!
Hi Juana! Thank you so much, come back soon in Mendoza! Abrazo
Our private Lujan Deluxe tour was great. The wineries were beautiful and they were each so different which made for a fun experience. There was something for everybody in our group. We ended with a farm to table lunch that was delicious and much needed at that point. Our guide and driver were also wonderful and easy to spend the day with.
Private tour in nice car with bottled water. Fabulous driver. First stop amazing location and backdrop with very informative tour of winery and their methods - Al Mano - labour intensive. Great tasting looking at the Andes. Second stop again informative, if not quite as stunning. Less wine but plenty. Final stop for lunch was very quaint. Food unique - wine not as good as other two. Nice locations to eat outside.
We had a wonderful dat in the Lujan area. In the past, we were in the Uco valley so it was a new and interesting experience which is also closer to Mendoza !. The first two wineries were interesting and beautiful with great folks explaining everything with a great deal of knowledge and patience then we went to Finca Minimal, the third winery which is very unique in how they make the wine and food, very special and talented folks. Samanta ran the whole ahow flwlesly and was a great host. The operator need to clearly if this is a private or a group tour as not everyone prefer the solo option.
The Guide was knowledgeable, it was a private tour with just the two of us, we were able to ask about everything. The wineries were fantastic and the lunch was delicious!
Samantha was a terrific guide and driver. She provided information on the area and the wineries. The wineries were excellent hosts and provided excellent wines. Serrera winery is a hidden gem! Their chef Charley is amazing and his many courses provided were very creative and the most wonderful flavours!
We had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Matias Roca, was phenomenal. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We had great conversations and he obviously knew the history of the area and , as a sommelier, obviously knew his wine. Lunch was at an outdoor venue and was spectacular. Loved the wineries that were chosen. I would give this tour my highest recommendation. We feel like we now have a friend in Mendoza. Thanks, Matias!

His deep knowledge of the area and passion for wine truly shine through, and we're thrilled he could enrich your experience with engaging conversations and insights. We’re so glad you enjoyed the outdoor lunch setting as well—it’s a special part of the day! We hope to welcome you back soon for more unforgettable moments in Mendoza. Warm regards,
