Itinerary
Before experiencing the Lucha Libre match, we will take you to eat some tasty tacos at a very authentic Mexican restaurant. There you will see how they're cooked and hear about their history. After this, we will go to one of the most famous pulquerias in the area to try some pulque and listen to live music. Finally, we will head to see the show at Arena Mexico, the most important Lucha Libre exhibition center in the country. Once there, focus on having fun supporting the “rudos” (“bad” guys who break the rules) or the “tecnicos” (“good” guys that follow the rules and perform more acrobatic moves).

PICKUP LOCATION: ◘ Small-group tour: (Tuesday) metro Balderas in front of Estatua al Empresario (exact location: http://rb.gy/imqze); (Saturday) MUMEDI (exact location: http://rb.gy/ud8td). ◘ Your accommodation or any other preferred place in Mexico City (please specify it during or after the booking). MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: ◘ Small-group tour: We need 3+ participants to confirm the group tour (otherwise, it might be canceled with a full refund 2 days before the tour). ◘ Private tour: 1+ (the tour is 100% confirmed for any group size). GROUP SIZE: ◘ Small-group tour: up to 12 travelers. ◘ Private tour: any size (only your group will participate). CUSTOMIZATION: ◘ Small-group tour: Not customizable. ◘ Private tour: The tour is customizable which means the time you spend in each destination can be adjusted to your needs. E.g. if you wanna visit a place that is not part of the default itinerary (e.g. attraction, restaurant, or market), you can do it on a complimentary basis if this visit (1) still fits the default duration of the tour and (2) doesn't involve a major change of the route. If both conditions are met, we can shorten the stay at a particular location included in the program of tour so that you have time to visit the place you are interested in. Other changes such as extending the duration of the tour, changing the route, and adding extra participants, should be communicated to the Company at least 48h before the tour and will involve an extra fee. WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU: personal ID (or a copy: digital or in paper); personal travel insurance; comfortable clothes and shoes; hat/cap, sunscreen, and sunglasses (the sun is pretty strong anywhere in Mexico); cash (if you’d like to buy something as not all merchants accept bank cards in Mexico); good mood and curiosity (☺). DEPARTURE TIME: ◘ Small-group tour: Fixed (see tour options for more info). ◘ Private tour: Flexible and can be adjusted to your needs. LANGUAGE(S): ◘ Small-group tour: English & Spanish (our guides are bilingual). ◘ Private tour: All our tours are led by local bilingual (at least Spanish & English) guides. Some of them speak other languages (e.g. French, German, Italian, Portuguese) but those depend on availability and cannot be fully guaranteed. Thus, if you want to have your tour in a language other than Spanish or English, please kindly inquire in advance before booking. TOUR DURATION: The standard duration of the tour, as advertised in its description, is calculated from the moment of pick-up till drop-off. CONTACT: Our guide will meet/pick you up at the agreed time and location and might need to contact you by phone, so please kindly provide a valid phone number during your booking. VEHICLE: The type of vehicle used in the tour depends on the size of your group and may include a car, 7-seater, or minivan. PRICE: ◘ Small-group tour: Fixed price/person. ◘ Private tour: The price/person varies and depends on the number of participants in your booking. TERMS & CONDITIONS: By booking this activity ("Tour") with the tour organizer ("Company"), you ("Customer") accept to: ● comply with all laws and regulations of the country (countries) where the Tour takes place; ● follow the instructions of the Company and its representatives; ● take all measures to procure your own safety on the Tour including, but not limited to, use of safety devices (including face masks, seat-belts, harnesses, and helmets), obeying posted signs, and oral or written warnings from the Company's representatives regarding health and safety; ● provide information about pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your ability to participate in the Tour or have a negative impact on the experience of others on the Tour; ● have personal travel insurance covering injury, emergency medical expenses, and damage or loss of your personal property, valid for the whole duration of the Tour; ● waive responsibility of the Company and its representatives for any personal health and property damage that may occur during the Tour; ● allow the Company to use any media content created by its representatives during the Tour for marketing-related purposes.

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico City! Diego was very knowledgeable about the local culture and we had an amazing time trying a delicious taco spot and pulque tasting. He gave us a lot of insight into daily life in Mexico city and the cultural significance of Lucha libre. Our whole group really enjoyed speaking with Diego and talked at length about how much fun we had!

This was SUCH a fun tour! I went with my husband and two teenagers and we had a blast. We were picked up by Diego at our hotel and our first stop was for tacos. Diego ordered us a bunch of different kinds so we could try everything. Delicious. Then we walked to a bar where we tried pulque- not our thing but glad for the experience. We had some time before the Lucha show so Diego walked us around the sites and told us about the history of the structures. That was a welcome bonus. Then we walked over to the show and it was quite an experience!! So much fun, I highly recommend it! Diego was also our guide for our day trip to Teotihuacan the next day which was great. He has so much knowledge about Mexican culture and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend both tours as well as Diego!

Tasty tacos, a chance to try pulque, and a very fun lucha libre match. Our guide Jocelyn made everything very smooth, getting our food and drinks ordered and getting into the match. She also gave us some recommendations for things to do afterwards. Would highly recommend this experience, we got to try many different things we wanted to check out in Mexico City.

Vladimir was the perfect person to escort us to the Pulqueria where we tried pulque for the first time. We really enjoyed seeing the Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling with such an avid fan. We were treated to a live performance of bagpipes and drums at the Pulqueria! It was a very unexpected experience to hear GOT theme in MXCD! Vlad explained the rules of wrestling and made it so enjoyable. We had three generations in attendance and it was fun for all. My 12 year old nephew loved it!

Andy our guide was phenomenal. There was only the 2 of us in our group so we got a private tour basically. It was like hanging out with a friend. We ate tacos, drank pulque & before I knew it my husband & I were salsa dancing. Then off to Luche Libre. We knew nothing about the sport prior to tour and Andy is a super fan so he explained 'everything' to us. From the good versus evil, to his favorite wrestles, we were immersed in the Luche Libre world amd we loved it. Such a great night. Definitely do this tour with Andy rather than going solo to get the true experience.

Our driver Jorge and guide Ximena really nailed this tour! We really enjoyed the local taco shop, Ximena took us to and gave a lot of great recommendations on different tacos to try. Even changed up the tour a bit to add mezcal before ending the night with some lucha libre!
