This was a wonderful half day trip. We were able to see so much of both places. Yvonne is an expert guide and shared so much information with the group. We rode the train to Rostock and took the city tram. Everything went so smoothly. Highly recommend this trip and guide.
Andreas was one of the best guides we’ve ever experienced. Very knowledgeable. He shared personal experiences about life behind the iron curtain. We met just outside the cruise ship terminal. The walk through Warnemunde and Rostock was very informative. We enjoyed the relaxing train ride to Rostock. Highly recommend.
Our tour guide Yvonne, who lives in Rostock, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. Her English was very easy to understand.
Yvonne was a very knowledgeable tour guide with lots of background information to share. Most of the tour is in Rostock after a short tour of Warnemunde, with train transport between the two cities. We learned a lot and really enjoyed it. Wear good shoes because there are a lot of cobblestones.
Our tour guide was Andreas. He was born during the time that the east was separated from the west and gave us a good understanding how that affected and shaped his life. The two cities we visited we so lovely, I really did not want to leave. I am so happy that I did not go to Berlin because I saw more in this day's tour than I ever would have with a few hours in Berlin.
Andeas did a great job. I enjoyed hearing about the history of East Germany. The towns were lovely and it was a good alternative to a long bus trip to Berlin. Tour started at the Cruise terminal so it was easy and convenient. We had a rainy day but I didn't mind!
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Andreas! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. He made sure everyone was comfortable, including planning convenient bathroom breaks, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The tour was both informative and fun, with lots of interesting insights and stories along the way. Andreas’s enthusiasm and attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organized tour! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Rostock is a hidden gem. Such a pleasure to have been to a relatively quiet town, after Amsterdam & London. Our tour guide (Bernd?) was just terrific with his deep knowledge of regional history. Highly recommend.
Daniel was an excellent guide and had great historical references to educate us. I will say it was a lot more walking than I anticipated so must be someone who does not easily. But the overall content the ease of the train ride and both cities were wonderful.
Had an amazing guided tour by someone who knows the history of the places he took us too. Martin was knowledgeable and funny in exactly the right way. Thanks for everyone. Well worth the money.
