This was our third visit to Tugu since 2018. Each time we have managed to stay for a little longer. This time we were fortunate to have two weeks in paradise. We had a really comfortable bed in large villa with infinity pool, all set in large well maintained grounds incorporating a long sunny beach front with islands of shade. It seems there are fresh flowers everywhere every day, the scent of frangipani is beautiful. Faisol and Ruslan and their teams achieve perfection in everything, seemingly without effort. Dedi runs the restaurant with charm, skill and humour, with his superb waiters and waitresses. The food was varied in choice, excellent and beautifully presented. Awal has been the barman since our first visit, this time we had a training on how to make his signature cocktail - Gin and Tea as well as his delicious breakfast juices. We had two delightful trips round the Gilli islands in the Dragon Boat. Sahirin and Samadi guided us snorkeling and we found shoals of beautiful fish and large turtles. A variety of excellent local massages are available in the spa - Javanese was my favourite. We will be back in 2026!
