Overall - not worth the money. Disappointed ++++. We would say booking a musical would be a better use of £££ and more fun too!!! Cheesy, which was fine, but the two actors read from a script ~ thought it would be more interactive / solving clues vs being more like a short play. Food was mediocre at best - starter was smoked salmon - tiny ring with loads of salad piled in middle to make it look bigger. Chicken nice but not ever seen lyonnaise potatoes as a dry lump on a plate- veg nice. “Tiramisu” presented like a cheesecake with amaretti on top - v rubbery texture and I didn’t enjoy it. Staff ok however only came around at start for drinks order and no coffee after dinner - quite uncomfortable on disembarking with their at entrance to bridge holding a large platter expecting tips …. My daughter paid a lot of money for this as a Xmas present - would we return ? 100% not!!! My son bought us a similar voucher - we have swiftly exchanged that for a different experience. There are so many immersive experiences to enjoy in London that I strongly urge you to look at all options before spending your hard earned money. If we could have left earlier we would have done…….

Having attended many murder mystery events I was disappointed. Two actors who were reading from the script. Engaged with the audience but felt very thrown together and we weren’t really sure what was happening most of the time. Nothing seemed to link together. Food tasted wonderful and I was well catered for as a coeliac. However my husband requires low carb for medical reasons and we advised them of this well in advance. However when we arrived the lady in charge said she didn’t know what it meant so just ignored it. This is really poor. They could have easily contacted us to ask but they didn’t bother. Given a complimentary drink to compensate but only when I requested it.

I am diabetic which is strictly controlled by diet. We informed the organisers in advance of dietary requirements and phoned to check they understood. Despite this, when we boarded I was told that they didn’t understand the requirement so did not attempt to cater for it. This is lazy and I would not book with this company again.

Good food and an interesting murder mystery. The detectives kept the audience involved and chose people from the audience that did an awesome job to help with the story.
I booked the murder mystery dinner cruise for my friend’s birthday. The information on the booking confirmation was clear and easy. When we arrived it was a bit difficult to work out exactly where to wait but we then saw a sign saying to wait there until staff came. We were then boarded quickly and very efficiently taken to our table. I had stated that I don’t eat fish or seafood and our host pointed out the different starter for me. I was very pleased when the main course came that they hadn’t given me the vegetarian option as I do eat meat so that was really well organised. The actors wandered through the cabin and chose people to take part, my friend was asked to play a part which she was very happy about. The actual captain of the ship did some announcements- which were very useful and amusing! The acting was gloriously hammy and great fun and they got the dinners involved. At the end we had to work out who had committed the murder. I’m very proud to say I was the only person who guessed correctly - but no spoilers here!! It was an amazing experience that was very well organised, very entertaining and good food all to the amazing backdrop of the river Thames at night
Took my dad for his birthday present. Absolutely loved it. The entertainment, food and service was amazing. We were served by Melinda who was so attentive and so quick . The amazing actors get everyone involved, and without spoiling too much got us testing our acting skills too! They give plenty of time for you to eat and take in the sights too. An amazing evening and when a next murder mystery story line is brought along I will definitely book again!
If you want a fantastic meal with some great sights, while also being entertained in a different way than before, this is definitely the option for you. Great service onboard, with some fine dining thrown in, I can highly recommend this experience.

OMG! What’s load of rubbish! So firstly our booking was messed up - not a problem they seemed quick to resolve it. I guess they wanted to secure their monies The boat is a lot smaller than I though but was very nice inside. The tables were laid our very nicely. Unfortunately my seat was really broken it dropped too low so I couldn’t sit up properly. We paid a lot of money for a window seat so I was a bit upset by this. The head waiter was really nice about this he offered another seat which wasn’t much better but as an alternative offered us extra champagne - mind you he had tons of extra welcome drinks so it wasn’t anything special but a welcomed gesture. In fairness to him He was very kind. The food was nice - nothing spectacular but decent - before you book there is a menu which gives you the option for a selection of one or two items eg for a starter you can have a salad or salmon mousse. It’s not extensive but clearly states either or option. However when we got on the boat you weren’t given this option it was one starter for everyone one main for everyone etc. if you had a specific dietary request gluten free vegan etc then you had to make this clear before. The service was a bit hit n miss they waiters seem to start at random points then miss people out completely it was a bit odd. Eg they would serve coffee n tea one side without any milk the bit come back to you for 10 minutes. Now we’ve been in city cruises in London and had ok food on boats before so for us it was really about the murder mystery entertainment. Whilst the actors were nice and did ok. No one intersected either us at all this is a valid point as again the advertisement was that they would. Also a quarter of the customers on board had pre printed murder mystery story details - we had nothing. A few people around us also looked a bit confused so whilst you got a little gist of what was going on you couldn’t really participate. I’m not sure if this happened because our initial booking was messed up. I did query this after by email but no one got back to me. On the way out the waiters were lined up at the front to say farewell holding their begging bowl of tips which I felt was abit tacky. If you were ordering drinks some people tipped then. It’s £95 a ticket so I didn’t think that was very good. Best advise - get a water boat taxi in the day or early evening to see London - it’s far far cheaper. Use the money you saved to get a nice meal somewhere. Don’t pay for murder mystery on a boat. It really wasn’t worth it. It doesn’t matter if you pay extra for window seat as you can walk around boat for view or photos. You won’t really notice scenery whilst eating. Also head straight to Tower Hill station it’s the closer train to the activity and you want to look out for Tower Millennium Pier.

We attended this event to celebrate our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The food, service and entertainment was excellent. We were fortunate to be on board with some very talented budding actors ( also dinner guests!) who really went for it and played their parts well. The views from the Thames were breathtaking!

This was bought for me as a birthday present and I can honestly say this is one of the best presents I have ever received. It was such a fun evening, the food was lovely and getting to see the sights of London as you go along too. The compares who host the evening are brilliant and get everyone involved in trying to work out who did it. Tower Bridge at night at the end of the cruise is a must see! Would definitely recommend.
