Excellent tour, highly recommend! Our guide kept us engaged the whole time and we learned a lot. So much fun!
Tour guide was dressed in appropriate attire to look the part. He gave great history, he is an amazing story teller and great guide. The tour was a good amount of time for our group. The ending was amazing. We would suggest getting clearer pictures as they were difficult to see. The ripper vision was disappointing, but we think it was due to it being too light outside. We would highly recommend this guide as he was tremendous.
Our Guide Rob was knowledge, funny and engaging. The women in our family appreciated his respectful manner when speaking of the victims. The slides added so much to the experience. I highly recommend this tour, and if you are lucky, Rob will be your guide!!!
The Jack the Ripper tour was informative and engaging, but unfortunately the experience was disrupted almost from the very beginning when a resident threw water on our group. While I understand that this may be considered a minor incident, it was not a pleasant experience and took away from the tour. My suggestion would be to avoid stopping directly outside residents’ windows or homes whenever possible. That would help minimize conflicts with locals and ensure future guests can enjoy the tour without similar interruptions. Overall, the guide was knowledgeable, but I hope the tour company considers adjusting a few stops to prevent this from happening to others.
This was an incredible experience from start to finish! The walking tour is about 2 hours and takes you directly to the sites of Jack the Ripper's crimes, as well as other notable locations of the East End. Highly recommend this for an older crowd, as some of the descriptions and images are very graphic. Our tour guide was Sinead, and she was amazing! She told the stories of the victims very respectfully while also being humorous in other moments.
Big group but the guide did not miss a beat - very good tour. A bit of walking so would suggest any activity earlier in the day kept to a minimum.
Sinead was amazing guide and an expert in the subject of Jack the Ripper. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a great experience
There is a good amount of walking so be prepared. The walking is uneven ground at some points so take care. The guide was super knowledgable and the images made a big difference.
Great walking tour- the guide was dressed up in a suit and hat, very fitting when giving a tour about events from the 1800s. Very knowledgeable guide/Ripperologist.
Excellent tour. Worth it coming over from West end. Our guide paced his presentation very well so when he was done we were totally surprised. Highly recommend.Do it!!
