Itinerary
An ancient plague pit with a ghastly past. Hear stories of vengeful spirits, including Black Death victims, ghostly monks, and even a headless Duke! Once you learn about its grim history, the eerie apparitions will seem all too real.
More than a meat market, this former execution site is home to sinister apparitions and unsettling tales. From the restless spirit of William Wallace to the mournful cries of Protestant martyrs, this historic square is full of chilling stories of death. And if you listen closely, you might just hear a scream...or two.
Hear about the morbid malpractices that took place at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. Once a medieval sanctuary for plague victims, it is now said to be haunted by ghosts of doctors, patients, and even a spooky spectral child. But beware, spotting him could be an omen that death is close.
The Central Criminal Court of London stands where Newgate Prison once stood, yet spirits like the vengeful "Black Dog" continue to haunt the site, serving as chilling reminders of the injustices that took place within those prison walls.
Welcome to London's most haunted pub, built above the holding cells of former Newgate Prison. Here, the beer is cold, but the ghosts are colder. You'll hear stories of the lingering souls of patrons who never quite finished their last drink.
Beneath the graceful exterior of St. Bride's Church lies a dark history. Learn why its crypts, once home to thousands of skeletal remains from the Roman era to the 19th century, were sealed after a series of disturbing discoveries.
This unsuspecting street is home to a sinister tale turned musical. Hear about the murderous demon barber who proved that he was a cut above the rest.
St. Paul's Cathedral is renowned for its breathtaking beauty, but it also holds a dark side as a survivor of blitzes and bombings. Hear the legend of the Whistling Clergyman who haunts All Souls' Chapel. If you listen carefully, you may also hear the cries of children, the faint echo of organ music, and the mysterious creaking of doors opening on their own in the dead of night.
Often called "The Wobbly Bridge" due to its unsettling sway, it’s believed to be cursed. Visitors have reported ghostly encounters and phantom splashes, thought to be the restless spirits of those who perished in the River Thames below.
This bridge is a fabric of the average Londoner's morning commute, but it's got something to hide. This former crime scene was the site of one of the most infamous murders in the city's recent history.
The Globe Theatre is a stage for more than just performances; it's also a place of eerie hauntings. Visitors have reported sightings of apparitions in Elizabethan attire watching rehearsals and hearing the sound of phantom applause. Delve into the unsettling tales tied to the Globe’s tragic past, including the story of an actor whose career went up in flames.
Once infamous for its brutal history of torture and death, The Clink Prison is now a museum, yet many believe the tortured souls of its past still haunt the site. Visitors often hear agonising screams, the sound of clinking chains, and encounter a sinister presence, believed to be the ghost of the cruel jailer known as "The Gaoler."
We'll finish with the worst, standing in front of the remnants of Winchester Palace, where hidden treasure comes at a cost and a curse. It's here where you'll discover the demonic past of this opulent palace and the truth about the most controversial bishop in London.

This tour was okay, but it wasn’t what we expected based on the title. If you’re looking for a true ghost tour with spooky stories and haunted locations, this isn’t it. It’s much more of a history tour focused on murders, executions, and other violent events that took place in London over the centuries. Our kids were excited to hear ghost stories and left disappointed because there really wasn’t much about ghosts at all. The guide was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about London’s history, but the marketing is a bit misleading. If you’re interested in dark historical crimes, you’ll probably enjoy it. If you’re hoping for a paranormal or ghost-focused experience, I’d look elsewhere.
This was a great tour! We had two kids (11 and 14) who enjoyed it and it kept their attention. The guide was so good at keeping everyone engaged with a mix of history and stories. We would suggest this tour for anyone who likes hearing all the gruesome details!
The tour guide had extensive knowledge of the local history and the stories around the tour, plus a very fun and energetic style to present the information in a way that was entertaining.

Corey was awesome!! Very knowledgeable and gave the group lots of great historical information. The tour was even better than described. Got to see so many things we would not have otherwise and heard about the dark history of the city.
Great tour! Tom was a great guide!! Great way to learn about historic London. Covers more sites than I thought.
Suraj was very knowledgeable and personable, and his sense of humour added to the stories he told. I would say this experience skews more towards history than spooky, and that's fine with me, even as a fan of the spookier side of life. Definitely get your money's worth!
