East to west in 1 day

Donny and Ronnie were great! Knew all the best places to go and knew so much of the history as well. Having a local guide us around Mallaig was wonderful and meant we got to go to the best lunch spot!

Brilliant tour! … Highland Explorer Tours and Haggis Adventures -

We did our tour with Highland Explorer Tours and Haggis Adventures, our driver/tour guide was Karen, who really made the experience. The tour had so many stops to look around and take everything in. The crowds were actually quite small in the areas so we was able to get great views and photos. We had a bonus stop on the river Morag bridge to see the rapids on one side and the contrasting beautiful white shingle beach the other. The tour was around 11 hours and very reasonably priced (around £60 pp)! Karen was very upbeat and would never waste a photo opportunity and always asking if we wanted pictures. She also has great knowledge throughout which we thoroughly appreciated! I can’t recommend this tour enough and with this company!

Just one word - astounding!

Just one word - astounding! The tour was very well curated. Apart from the stunning views and the unbelievable experience, the one person who made it truly memorable - the tour guide Sonia! She was extremely knowledgeable, had mastery over trivia, regaled us with her with tales, and was warm, friendly, patient, and personable. She is a treasure. Highly recommend the trip to anyone who is in the highlands.

No Jacobite train, long time on bus - but overall great tour operator & guide

I had originally booked the Jacobite steam train tour, but unfortunately a week before the tour, the steam train operator cancelled the train. We were given this tour as an alternative after a partial refund. The tour was good, but obviously not as great as it would have been with the train ride. However, our guide Craig did an excellent job of adding little stop offs along the way to make it better! It’s just a long time on the bus, with very short stop off times/not a lot of things to do vs. things to see. This particular route is not something I would have chosen without the train ride given the amount of time on the bus. Other than that, the tour was great, our guide Craig was extremely knowledgeable, fun, and he found ways to break up the downtime, mixing in Scottish music as part of the experience, which we really appreciated as well.
