Pierangela was so accommodating to include us in her tour/class after our fiasco of receiving an incorrect meeting address. We suggest checking the address several times before the tour! If you are trying to go with friends, all need to sign up as one purchase otherwise you might get 2 different instructors. We had to pay for the additional classes since the registration is not transferrable at such late notice. Additionally, be prepared to pay for a taxi to/from the instructor’s home if s/he lives away from the market area. Logistics aside, the experience was tasty and interesting. It is always interesting to visit local food markets. At the instructor’s home we made orchiette. Pierangela also made bruschetta, eggplant parmigiana, lemon cake. We enjoyed Prosecco while we rolled the pasta and a family wine with our feast! Our instructor had the taxis waiting for us for our rides.
Pierangela and her husband met us at the market and we purchased ingredients for our lunch- a visit to the bakery, a few different greengrocers and cheese factory and shop. Then we went back to her house where we made Orecchiette and Tiramisu plus tried the cheeses and salami and fruits and bread we had purchased. We are so appreciative of how we were welcomed into her home and family. We learnt so many new things that we will take with us back to Australia. An easy 5* rating.
