We booked the full day private tour of Florence and Pisa during our time in Livorno. We enjoyed it thoroughly! Our guide in Florence was great and her expertise gave us so much background that we would not have had on our own. Lunch was great! We finished up in Pisa. What a great day we will remember always!
Hi! I apologize if I have not responded to your review earlier... In the confusion of the end of 2019 /start of 2020 events I thought "I will do it later" and, now that tourism seems to start again, here I am. I' so happy to read you enjoyed my wonderful region! Thanks for choosing Toscana Guide Service. Thanks for the time you used to write your review, really appreciated. See you soon! Francesca
Booking through Viator can be a little confusing, a private tour does not mean you also get a private guide The description by this tour operator was perfect and gives you not only a private driver/guide but then a private tour guide when you get to Florence. Driver: Ignazio was amazing . He was friendly and was very informative telling us about the Area on our way to Florence and was fantastic with our kids. Also when I would ask about seeing certain locations he would build it into our itinerary. He alone made this trip a 5 out of 5. He also recommended a great restaurant in Florence for lunch. Tour Guide in Florence: Giusy was fantastic... we were a group of 6 and she took us to all the top locations in Florence and then a few small hidden gems. She was very knowledgeable of the area and all the history. At the end of our 3 hour walking tour we all realized that without Guisy our Florence experience would not have been the same. I high recommend this tour for anyone who wants the full Florence experience.
Hi Scott! Here I am to thank you personally for choosing Toscana Guide. And more thanks for the time you spent for this review. It is very important for us to know that our commitment and continuous study can give good memories to those who choose to discover Italy with us. Our great pleasure to have you as our guests. Grazie mille! Francesca Donati

Everything went smoothly. Driver at dock on time, easy to find. Very friendly and talked about the area. Antonella, our guide met us and was able to get us in to the Academy and then last minute to the Ufizzi, which was great. She was very knowledgeable about all the art and landmarks we saw. Only thing I would make note of was that it was a full day tour, but only 3 hours was allotted for the actual tour with Antonella - the rest was travel and a half hour stop in Pisa on way back to ship. Overall though, really good day.
