This is a must do if you like nature and want to see happy elephants living their best lives! The baby elephant, Charlie, was an unexpected bonus. So adorable! Guapo was a fabulous guide. You can tell how much he loves and respects the elephants. I would never want to contribute to the pain and suffering of elephants. On this tour we were able to contribute to their happiness and wellbeing. Don’t hesitate.
Our guide Mod was friendly. They take many pictures for you. You can tell all the staff care about the elephants.
This elephant sanctuary rescues elephants from circuses, logging companies, and elephant ride companies, which all treat elephants unethically. They cannot be released into the wild now because they are domesticated and would not survive, but here they live in a proper elephant habitat, get enough food, aren't made to do dangerous work or tricks, and get vet care. I think what this place is doing is important. They need support. It was very cool to be able to see the elephants up close and even hand them food which they accept with their trunks. They are beautiful animals and I learned a lot about them here.
After arriving, the guide/worker did a great job keeping us entertained with jokes and information about the elephants. During the observation we were able to feed the elephants with sugar cane with a photo. We toured the property up the hill then back down into the water hole where your optioned to get inside the bath with the elephants. Definitely a good experience.
We loved our experience with the elephants. The guides gave a lot of explanations and were very nice. The elephants seem to be peaceful. They are never forced or mistreated. There was a young elephant a little over a year old. On-site, eight elephants in total at the time we were there. We were able to feed the elephants and be present with them when they went to bathe. On-site, it is possible to change and rinse off in an open-air outdoor shower.
Great experience for animal lovers. Loved feeding the elephants and observing them in their own space.

The bus drive was pleasant enough despite traffic. The bus was very comfortable. Starting the tour, we were provided a fantastic lunch consisting of pad Thai which is extremely tasty. Then we were given the rundown for the sanctuary and a bit of history but where the elephants came from After the mandatory conversation about how to behave in front of the elephants, we were given the opportunity to feed them sugarcane and corn. We then got to walk around the park with the elephants robbing free and finally the water hole where some people went into the water with the elephants. Overall, the whole day was a fantastic experience and the ability to be so close to the elephants was amazing

I was very excited when I saw that there was an opportunity near Bangkok to interact with elephants in a protected environment. My trip included a convenient hotel pickup and a comfortable van. Although there were no guides accompanying us in the van, the guides we met at the sanctuary were exceptional. They possessed a unique knowledge and deep love for the elephants. The guides, “Crazy Man” and “Sexy Man,” kept us entertained and engaged with their captivating stories and teachings about the elephants. It was evident that they were passionate about the elephants, with one of them having dedicated 20 years to their care. It was a fantastic day, complete with a delicious lunch and the chance to feed and even wash the elephants.
