Lipari & Vulcano from Cefalù - Aeolian Islands - Full Day
Description
On this full-day, 10-hour tour, depart from Cefalù and make way to the Aeolian Islands: a volcanic archipelago off the northern coast of Sicily that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After a coach journey to Milazzo, take a BOAT to the island of Lipari, where you’ll go on a tour of its archaeological sites before wandering through the island’s main town; afterwards, you’ll head to Vulcano, an island famous for its thermal attractions. The tour will conclude in the late afternoon, after you return to Milazzo and board a coach back to Cefalù.

Vulcano is a bit smelly Lipari hás good views of the other islands If you start in S. Nicola a l’Arena and then Cefalù it makes for a LONG day A bit too much
Always nice (and fortunately it has no airport). Otherwise, this island would be as "crowded" as the Amalfi coast.
The last 30 minutes of the cruise by the large rocks off the shore of Vulcano was wonderful and helped to make up for the wasted 3 hours at the beach. Lipari was nice and enjoyable. A bit too short. Would have much preferred to skip Vulcano, extend Lipari and keep scenic part of cruise.
Lipari very nice , the bus tour on Volcano 🌋 was great , the boat tour afterwards also very cool. A long great day.
Really nice guide. Lipari is great, beautiful town, amazing church. Vulcano is different and the mud pool interesting, but a bit too long on Vulcano. Bus trip is 1+ hours but scenery is very interesting and varied. Overall, a good day. Boat was too crowded.

<p>It's a little misleading to say this trip is from Cefalu when the boat leaves from Milazzo, 1.5 hours away on a coach meaning you have to leave really early in the morning. There is a tour from Cefalu where the boat leaves from Cefalu itself and had we known that this was from Milazzo we would have booked that one. Lipari is quite nice, but Vulcano is a bit boring.</p>
<p>excellent trip a very long day but lots to see. Also we left purse on coach with many euros inside this was returned in full which was a refreshing but happy experience thank you</p>
