It’s fun if you have some Lego lovers in the family. It’s pretty expensive for what it is though. The two rides were fun. The mini Lego land was super cool. But definitely a one time kind of place for us.
Having an annual membership is really nice because then no need to stand in the admission line, simply walk up, have your phone scanned and you’re in! We spent the day here, but will return again next month. Our experience was wonderful, we got to catch up with the master model builder and one of the Lego employees, they are the ones who make our visits all the more memorable. It was not as crowded but there were still a number of people. When there are crowds, the atmosphere can be noisy and stressful, we prefer days when the crowds are thin, makes for a more fun day. Unfortunately we missed the holiday characters and the Noon Year’s Eve but maybe next year!
The entire thing was amazing! I took 2 of my grand daughters and they didnt want to go home. 1 ride was down but I enjoyed it so much the hubby is gonna go next time with our grand sons!
My grandsons loved the rides and construction site along with the 4D movie. A great time. We loved not having to wait in lines also!
My son enjoyed his time, which is all that truly matters. He loved the climbing play area the most. We paid extra for the minifigures and photos. We only took one photo, and I still have not been able to download it, more than a week later. The minifigs were an extreme disappointment. We thought we would be able to build our own, but instead were handed 3 preselected ones to out together. Interesting place, we won't come back next vacation.
It’s a good thing we went to the real Legoland in California last year because as huge Lego fans we were extremely disappointed with this Arizona version. Rude girl at check in, no candy for brick or treat. So, not sure why they even bothered pretending it was a Halloween event. $7 extra (x two people) to take a brief “virtual” ride that didn’t work properly. We thought our day would get better in the store, it didn’t. The Lego store doesn’t acknowledge any Lego membership privileges: no discounts, no points for purchases and no cash only credit card accepted for buying Lego!! Not tourist friendly at $117 US for admission. Not worth it. Fellow Canadians: save your money, skip this over-priced mall diversion. Pay less, visit Crayola down the road.
Fantastic experience! Petting sea animals great! Loved going to visit the ride and watch the movies! Great exhibits! Will go again to visit Butterflies as well!
We took our one year old to the discovery center and he had a blast! There is something for every age. It's also a really great mall once you finish up at the discovery center, there's plenty to do! My one year old really loved building the race cars and running them down the track and also playing with the duplo legos they had out. I wasn't sure if he'd like it, but it was definitely a great experience. I would also recommend the aquarium for the kids that is just across from the discovery center. You can buy tickets together and get a discount!
My 8-year-old son and I took a last-minute trip to the Lego Discovery Center last week while in Atlanta helping family. We booked the earliest time to arrive and spent hours in fascinating imaginative play. The most remarkable time was spent with the Lego Master, Crow. They spent time answering questions about Lego history, Lego build developments, and dreams. Later in the day, my son approached Crow to see if he'd help build a Lego Frankenstein. In no time, Crow was with us, gathering the bricks from throughout the center and working with my son to create an outstanding build! While the entire center was amazing, the individualized time, attention to detail, and engaging conversation Crow had with my child was inspirational and exceeded every expectation I had. Thank you, Crow, and thank you, Lego!
What a great place to visit! The staff was friendly. The facility was well put together and such fun things to do. We easily spent over two hours there. Can't wait to revisit when we go back to AZ.
