Great.

I visited the space in 2025 with my son and we spent a whole day playing. The care of the staff and the support they gave me was something that is not seen in any space.

Super fun weekend activity

Highly recommend going and buying the season pass. I bought the season pass for me and my son, and we go at least once a month if not more. They have three 3-D movies, a spaceship building section with an asteroids-like arcade game, a ride, a racecar building section, and much more. For less than $100 a year, we have unlimited Lego play, which is great because I do not have that much space in our house for the amount of Legos my could would like to own.

If you like a middle school lunchroom during a food fight, you'll love Legoland!

We arrived and saw a line of four long, tourism quality buses. Legoland was overrun by hundreds of kids from Loudon County. No one was coaching them to behave, so they were yelling and screaming. The decibel level was literally deafening. There were herds of poorly behaved kids from other camps as well. It was impossible to get the n to see the movies. Couldn't get close see to the Giant Lego replica of Washington, DC. It was being in a junior high school lunchroom. I kept expecting a slice of flying bologna to hit me. Don't recommend.

Some details from a bad experience at Lego Discovery Center

My son and I have had passes to Legoland and Lego Discovery Center for the past 8 years. I switched from Lego Discovery Center Philadelphia to Northern Virginia this year due to a family change. The facility in Northern Virginia is cramped, dimly lit, and poorly stocked with Lego's. For example, like many Lego sites they have a variety of racer building attractions - but almost no wheels (so you are trying to make a car to race that has either no wheels because none are available or has standard wheels). About half the facility is set up to photograph you and your Lego minifig (I assume for selling pictures or posting them online) but none of the (12 or so) displays that I checked work correctly.

Fun Day!

My kids really enjoyed it! It had a lot of things included in the price of the tickets. We really enjoyed the 4D movie and the interactive ride.

Hours of fun!!

When I first walked in, I wasn't sure if there was go8ng to be enough activities to feel like we would get our money's worth. We ended up walking out about 2 and half - 3 hours later. We had so much here. We took my nephew (3), and I am excited to take my niece (11) back because I know she will have such a good time!! The only thing I would say is important to know is that if you take smaller kids to see the 4D movie....the way things jump out may frighten them!!

Awesome fun with our grandson

We loved the 4D movie, the laser escape room, and the many Lego displays. It was fun to be creative and design a rocket and watch it come to life. The only reason I did not give it five stars was that several attractions were broken and we felt a little cheated. Also there were some kids and adults who didn't know how to wait their turn. I think it would have been delightful to have more staff who came and interacted with the kids to encourage more creativity and make sure everyone was getting to enjoy the activities appropriately.

Not worth the price

The Lego discovery center is pricey, noisy and a bit chaotic. We were surprised that all of the Lego pieces for the different activities were very basic. Even the make your own mini-fig didn't have many choices. It might be a good activity for smaller children (ours are 8 and 11) or if you don't have many Legos at home, but otherwise I don't think it's worth the money.

Great place for Lego fans

We came when it was not a school vacation time on Monday and had a blast with easy access to all of the attractions. Our kids ages from 7 to 13 had a lot to do.

Family Fun

Definitely geared toward a younger crowd but we had a wonderful time! Loved the master builder class; the master builder was very engaging.
