Lovely, welcoming and professional. I enjoyed the cultural drums, cultural percussion and African food. Captivating moments, dance classes and overall guidance was memorable
I knew before arriving to Kenya that the drum was calling me. I googled and found C-Jey's event and immediately signed up. This was the perfect addition to my 60th birthday Celebration. Connecting with the drum in the motherland couldn't be more fun, loving, safe, inspiring and delicious! My husband and I jammed with C-Jey, sang lovely songs and broke bread to delicious African Cuisine. We had such an amazing time. C-Jey, Asante Sana! Your hospitality was like being home. Thank you for calling our car and assuring we got in safely. That was sweet of you. We are grateful. Regards, Rolando & Iris Bronx, N.Y.
We appreciate your honest review and are looking forward to hosting you again
We had much fun and enjoyed the meals and drinks we're good 😊👍,We eat Kenyan food ie the chapati, ndengu greengram and we had some wines ,,The musical instruments too,,the drums too
The food, people, drumming and singing was the best experience in such a nice environment. It's also such a nice place to hang out, especially during school time where the host teaches music and movement with the special needs children
We spent our Christmas Day with C-Jey and his artist friends who are all working to improve the life of children in the slums through music and dance education. The group we met were talented artists actively involved in the development of the Kenyan music scene and working hard to give back to their community. We had a traditional Kenyan Christmas lunch together, had wonderful conversations , sang, danced and made music! C-Jey definitely made us feel welcomed in his inner circle and for us it truly made Christmas special! Felt like we were hanging out with our family and friends that we have known for years .
Jonson is a warm, lovely and lively teacher. Started making Kenyan cuisine together which was very delicious and healthy. The drumming workshop was a therapeutic experience that made me alert all the time, although it was difficult sometimes especially when we sang and drummed at the same time. Loved the feeling of merging with the sound we made. The place was surrounded by quiet and gorgeous nature. I certainly recommend this experience to anyone!
Thank you Keiko, It was nice having you around. You are welcome again anytime. In the meantime enjoy our beautiful city, Nairobi
This experience is therapeutic, educational, entertaining and meditative whether you can play the instruments or not, it makes you feel like a pro.
Thank you!
