Latvian Wine Private Adventure: Discovering Baltic Wines

We enjoyed experiencing Latvian wines and the locations and learn about Latvian wines. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our conversation. Latvian wines are a small market and it is reflected in the price, which is the only reason I rate it Good versus Excellent.

The guide did an impressive job of explaining the unique challenges and opportunities of winemaking in Latvia's cooler climate. It was fascinating to learn about the locally grown varietals and the innovative techniques being employed to produce quality wines.

I got to know about Latvian wine production using time-honored techniques they've used for generations. It was fascinating to see how truly embedded wine is in Latvian culture. I had a good time during this wine tour.

This tour was a good way to know about wineries of Latvia, and we saw some on their winemaking process. Participation in tastings, was the highlight for us. We got a friendly tour guide.

We saw and learnt how the winemaking process goes in Latvia. During the tasting sessions, we personally experienced how some of these Latvian wines differ from classic grape wines. This is a delightful and unique experience for wine enthusiasts.

I got to know about Latvian wine production. The wine tasting sessions were educative and fun as well. It was an enjoyable wine adventure.

I should have questioned why this had no reviews. I’m sure people who booked it on Viator don’t know the can review it here. Please save yourself the hideous amount of money this costs -283.00 US dollars -as you will be so disappointed and you have no recourse. This is presented by opatrip.com as a 2 hours wine tasting with professionals that know about wine. They say there will be snacks and a dungeon etc. none of it is true except you will taste 7 wines. 5 of which you can go there yourself and try for 10 US dollars as advertised on the chalkboard. The other 2 are at a bar served by a girl with absolutely zero wine knowledge. No snacks no dungeon no k Pelegrín of wines…A person brings you there and taps about what they think is important in Riga…not interested-I booked a Latvian wine tour not a city tour-already did that. So when I complained they offered me a beer to compensate and told me it was my fault because I was 15 minutes late. Really? That didn’t change the blatant false advertising and to add insult to it. They marked my booking as canceled on Viator do I can’t leave a review. This company OPATRIP. Com is as shady as they come. I encourage you not to waste your time or money on anything to do with this company. They have treated me very very badly.
