Absolutely worth it! This 2-hour guided walking tour of Downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street exceeded our expectations. Our local guide brought the 7-block “walk through time” to life — from its humble beginnings to Glitter Gulch and the impressive urban renewal story — with engaging stories and insider context. The wireless headsets made it easy to hear every detail, and the guide’s tips, restaurant recommendations, and coupons were incredibly helpful afterward. Fun for solo travelers, couples, or families, and a perfect way to discover why Downtown is a must-see Vegas destination. Highly recommended!
Kelly is the best walking tour guide he is exceptional and has explained everything so clearly and understanding for everyone in the tour so 100% recommended
Really interesting tour and great guide with fascinating stories. Highly recommended if you want to see the original side of Vegas.
Kelley did a great job explaining the importance and historical aspects of LasVegas in its beginning. His command of the knowledge was amazing. Did a great job Highlighting the great attributes and revitalization of LV Downtown. Thanks recommending highly.
Kelly was fantastic! Knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The walking tour starts at the plaza and ends at the container park. It was really hot in June but we still had a great time. I’d bring lots of water! The tour was a great way to learn about the history of Las Vegas and get insider tips. My boyfriend and I ended up staying at the golden gate the next day and checked out circas rooftop bar which Kelly recommended. I like the audio headset so you can hear what the guide is saying easily and the binder full of visual aids of what Vegas looked like before. We felt like we learned a lot
Kelly was awesome full of great knowledge and appreciation of downtown Las Vegas! Loved it!!!
This is the second time we have had the joy of the tour. I can’t recommend this enough please take this history tour of the original Vegas it will open your eyes to how Vegas was created. Kelly knows everything you need to know. Took my sister and brother in law on the tour and they are going to do it again on their next trip.
Another tour that wasn’t worth $70 I mean if you’ve been in Vegas all you gotta do is take a lift and say go downtown and you’re in Fremont and you probably pay like $12 for the lift you can tour free on your own
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. You are absolutely right that anyone can visit Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street on their own. The purpose of our tour is to provide carefully researched historical context, stories, and insights that would be extremely difficult for most visitors to uncover on their own. Over the course of two hours, guests gain a comprehensive understanding of the founding of Las Vegas, the evolution of Fremont Street, the people and events that shaped the city, and numerous hidden details and connections that are rarely recognized without an expert guide. While guided tours are not for everyone, many guests appreciate the deeper understanding and perspective they gain from the experience. Thank you again for joining us.
Wife and I did the tour and it was fantastic! It was a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and informative. The ear pieces really helped us hear over the sounds of Fremont. The guide had pictures, showed us some unique view points and gave lots of great food and store recommendations. We couldn't recommend the tour enough if you enjoy learning history of the area. If we come back we will stay in Downtown for sure. Lots to do and great pricing.
This was so well done! We learned so much from our guide Kelly. He knew history about how LV got started ( with old pictures) and fun facts about the casinos and their owners, even the old signs etc. He was a wealth of information. He even included a tips sheet on restaurants! Go …you won’t be disappointed !
