I had a wonderful experience on this tour, I had to move to another date due to not enough numbers on the date I booked, the tour ended up being fully spanish speaking however my guide was so kind and made sure to translate everything for me in english and ensured to check in on me, the actual tour was awesome, Los Colorados was so beautiful and the guide whom took us around was an A+ photographer, once we got on the boats the drivers were always looking for crocodiles and we managed to see 3 and the flamingos were WOW, we were able to view them for a good amount of time and take photos! The clay bathing was fun, all in all this was a great tour! I highly recommend doing this when it is the good season for flamingos :)
It is a nice tour, it is really worth it, I recommend it. It is a very beautiful experience to be able to see the flamingos
Amazing experience from start to finish! Visiting Las Coloradas, Cancunito, and Río Lagartos was such a memorable day. The landscapes were beautiful, and each stop had something special to offer. Our guide was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Everything was well organized, and I truly had a great time. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!
Thank you so much for your kind words! 💛 We're thrilled you enjoyed the tour and had a great experience with our guide. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Yucatán soon!
We initially planned to rent a car and drive to Las Coloradas ourselves, but instead booked the “Las Coloradas, Río Lagartos and Playa Cancunito Tour from Mérida” tour, and it was a great decision. The tour really does last 13 to 14 hours, with morning pickup around 7am and return to Mérida around 8pm It is very convenient and well organized. The descriptions on Tripadvisor, the website, and Viator are accurate and complete. They offered a few pickup points, and we spent the day in a large van with about 18 people. It was not very spacious, but it was new, had good AC, was reasonably comfortable, and was very clean. They even cleaned it between stops to remove beach sand and dripping water. You can also leave your things safely in the van at each stop. The tour includes Las Coloradas with a guided tour, which was actually much nicer than we expected. They even let people swim/float in a designated area, which was a surprise, though my understanding is that this is not guaranteed! After that, there was a 1-hour beach stop, then Río Lagartos with a guided boat tour to see crocodiles, flamingos, and other interesting birds. The tour also included a mud bath on a beach within Río Lagartos, followed by a very tasty dinner at a place where you can shower and change clothes before the drive back. We were the only two people in the group who only spoke English, and all of the guides spoke good English. The guide accompanying us throughout the day, the guide at Las Coloradas, and the boat guide in Río Lagartos all repeated absolutely everything in both Spanish and English, which we really appreciated. The logistics were very well planned and clearly practiced, communication was great, and overall it was an amazing experience. I would definitely recommend it. One piece of advice is to bring cash for tips and for a shop stop between Las Coloradas and the beach, in case you want extra snacks. The first stop on the way from Mérida, at a gas station, also has water, other drinks, snacks, and sandwiches, so it can work as a light breakfast depending on your preferences. They provide small binoculars for Río Lagartos, but they are not great, so I would recommend bringing your own if you have some. Otherwise, your phone’s zoom should do the job. Other than that, bring the usual essentials: water shoes or slippers, plenty of sunscreen, bug spray, ideally a quick-dry towel, a hat, sunglasses, plenty of water, and a change of clothes if you prefer. They also send all communication over WhatsApp in advance, which is very helpful.

Excellent service from the agency and its team (Jhony, Juan, Mich, and the driver). They are very honest since my family member forgot their ID and money, and they returned everything exactly as it was. I recommend it 100%

It's a long day but well worth it. Every stop was unique. The salt pans ranged from vivid pinks to dusky browns. Really quite amazing and better than I expected. We did see a couple of alligators and quite a few flamingos. Along with a range of other bird life. The boat ride was fun and an adventure. Our beach visit was great also. Just be aware there is no shade - and throughout the day you do need to make sure you have at least a cap and sunblock or cover up. Lunch was very good - our guide chose a local dish for me and the fish was excellent and also I was happy to have a range of vegetables served with it - as sometimes the Mexican food can get a bit heavy. That cocktail hit the spot also! Thanks to our guide Juan and our driver.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed every stop on the tour and that Juan and our driver helped make your day so memorable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another adventure!
It is an incredible place; we had the chance to travel with Guide Juan, and honestly, 10/10, they showed us and taught us a lot; the explanation and the trip were very dynamic. I highly recommend that you attend this travel agency 1000/10

Excellent agency, I had no issues; I took two tours with them, and the guides, the vans, and the locations were incredible. We enjoyed the trip a lot. Moreover, all the information they provide is very good for getting to know and enjoy. Luis and Juan were our guides to Las Coloradas, and Pablo was an incredible guide for the cenotes and Valladolid. Without a doubt, I would return and recommend it.
