We really enjoyed our tour of Lantau Island. We saw the Big Buddha, Monastery, and Fishing Village. Our tour guide Stephen was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend this tour
We’re told with booking private we didn’t have to walk the 284 steps to the Buddha. When we got there we were told that the ride to the top was a misprint. I was funneled to the private tour because it included being driven to the top.
1st Class from start to finish (except for the Vegetarian "feast" at the Buddhist Temple...) Our guide, Jacky Cheung, was excellent, didn't talk too much, but provided very knowledgeable info. when questioned. He even told us where to buy the USB fan he was using!! All in all a 1st Class day out. Would recommend him & his company to anyone. Not cheap, but worth every penny.
I have forwarded your message to Jacky. He asks me to say thanks for him.
Ricky was incredible, extremely knowledgeable of Lantau and Hong Kong delighting us with his wisdom and thought provoking anecdotes! He was very friendly and even though it was a rainy day the tour was still amazing, he knew how to take advantage of the buildings and the big buddha was inspiring!
