Langtang Valley Trek

Nepal High Trek put us in touch with our guide Kippa. He was very excellent in route knowledge and also knew all the best hotels to stay at. We were very happy with the service provided and had a very fun trek! Would definitely book again!

We’ve wanted to do a trip to Nepal for years and the Langtang Valley trek exceeded all our expectations. Our guide Laku was brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable and we felt very well looked after from the moment we landed in Nepal, right through to the end of the trek. It was our first time hiking at high altitude and also the first time we’d climbed a summit in snow, but Laku always made us feel safe and supported. He was also amazing at spotting wildlife along the route, from monkeys, eagles, boars, deer, that we would have otherwise missed. We stayed in tea houses along the way and were always welcomed with great hospitality and big portions of tasty food. From jungle landscapes to snowy mountains, every day felt completely different. It was an unforgettable experience and we’ll hopefully be back again! Thanks Laku!

The trek was excellent, especially our guide Surya, he was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the trek. If you are to do this trek I can’t recommend Surya as a guide enough he absolutely made this trek possible and enjoyable for my group. If you are to do this trek ask for Surya as a guide.

The lang tang trek was an awesome experience. Great views and animals. Our guide Surya was super helpful and friendly!! We loved having him along the way, and he made everything super easy. We even had a change of plans and he accommodated for us. Super thankful for all his help and support!!

Surya was an amazing guide, constantly going out of his way to make our trip as best as possible, he is the most selfless, kind and friendly guide any trekker could ask for. He is very easy to talk to very funny and warm, He wasn’t just a guide he was a friend who knew the route. We just returned from an incredible 8-day trek through the Langtang Valley, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. From start to finish, the trip was flawlessly executed, allowing us to simply soak in the breathtaking Himalayan views. The highlight of our trek (aside from the scenery!) was undoubtedly our guide, Nabin. He was the backbone of our journey. Not only was he incredibly organized and professional, but he also brought so much value to the daily hikes. He shared fascinating insights about the local culture, flora, and fauna. He paced the trek perfectly and always checked in on our well-being. His sense of humor and stories kept our spirits high even on the steeper climbs. Nepal High Trek handled everything with ease. Communication was clear, and we felt well-supported from the moment we arrived. Their attention to detail meant we didn't have to worry about a thing. We absolutely loved this trip. The Langtang Valley is a hidden gem, and experiencing it with such a capable team made it even better. We will definitely be using Nepal High Trek again for our next visit to Nepal. We completed our first Himalayan trek with Nepal High Trek and would highly recommend them to any other first time trekkers! They were very responsive when I was making my initial enquiries and answered my many questions clearly. The entire 8 day trek was well organised and went seamlessly, and they were also very flexible and catered the days and itinerary to our ability. Extra big thanks to our guide Buddhi, who was warm and welcoming, and gave us plenty of tips to keep ourselves from burning out, before we hiked up Tserko Ri - his support and encouragement (and willingness to start the trek at 2am for us so we got to see the sunrise) got us up to the summit! We will always be thankful and that will be an experience that will stay with us forever. We have already been discussing doing further hikes in the future with Buddhi and Nepal High Trek. My guide was bibash. I was a guide who spoke English and had no trouble talking to people. He was always caring and never had any trouble staying or eating. It's been a great trip. Thank you.

The toughest hike ive been in. No porter, no chill. We did the 5 day hike of langtang which usually takes 8 days. Physical fitness and mental fortitude is a must. We were fortunate enough to experience many weather conditions, from thunderstorm to hail to snow. 100% recommend our guide Kipa. Attentive and he saved my life from the mini hail shower.
