Travel for one day in the environment of picturesque mountain landscapes, introducing you to the ancient history of Georgia and its legends. Our itinerary includes the Ginville Reservoir, Ananuri Medieval Castle, a restaurant with spectacular views, and free wine and local brandy tastings. Friendship Arch. And, of course, the final destination is the monastery at the foot of the Great Kazbegi. Free time at the Rooms hotel. From there, there are fabulous views.

Meeting and introduction place at Ushba office, check tickets 15 minutes before.
Under extreme weather conditions, the route will pass through the Zhinvali reservoir,
Ananuri fortress: a story in stone On the coast of Aragvi you will be met by the only fortress of Georgia that has reached us in its original form. Walking through the territory of the Ananuri defense complex, you will feel like a resident of the Middle Ages and learn about the glorious past of the Aragva eristavi (heads of the people). And we will definitely pay attention to the Assumption Church of the 17th century, whose facade is decorated with interesting bas-reliefs, and each element of the decor carries a hidden meaning.
At the confluence of Ora Aragvi and in a beautiful valley, there are restaurants that are located in a beautiful location. where you can taste Georgian khinkali and other traditional mountain dishes. You will taste several wine and brandy tastings for free (the restaurant is charged). Tasting is prohibited for children under 18 years of age.
We will pass the ski resort of Gudauri on a military road, where you will enjoy the beautiful views of the Caucasus.
Friendship Arch. on the edge of the mountain near Gudauri. This is the highest point of the pass and the perfect place to submit to the mountains forever!
Gergeti Church and Fortress You surely saw such postcards: an ancient monastery standing on a hill on a background of snow-capped mountains. For these species in reality, you will go to the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of Kazbek. And there you will transfer to jeeps to climb to the "monastery behind the clouds", sung in the poems of Pushkin. Additional expenses: jeep to the temple in Gergeti (20 GEL per person);
You will spend your free time in the Rooms Hotel, enjoying the beautiful views from its balconies, the breathtaking beauty of the Gergeti Trinity. Enjoy coffee and tea
Return to Tbilisi before 8-9 in the evening, at the Ushba office on Maidni Square.

Kate is a fantastic guide, I had a very good time on this trip. It is a long day and I would recommend everyone wears walking boots not trainers for the snow. Also several layers of clothes are best to keep warm. The mountains are spectacular and not to be missed . Very interesting experience and I would recommend this company to anyone.

She was very attentive and knowledgeable and made every effort to see that we enjoyed our tour , with music, a little bit of playfulness and a personal touch to everyone on the tour. The itinerary caught us in a little snow storm ... Something out of everyone's control....but we consider that an experience we can never have at home. The activites were plenty and interesting. We are sorry it was too cold for us to join the ride up to the last monestary.....it would have been extraordinary ...but Kait found us a beautiful place to sit in the warmth and see the breathtaking view of the mountains...and the monestary. We recommend this trip highly.

It was a beautiful experience, we had the chance to try traditional wine in Ananuri and honey in Gudauri. Took lots of pictures and had great memories. I totally reccomend since the price is low and it is worth it.

He had such a nice day with our guide Kittie. The rooms was my dream and she did a stop at that place, tour was pretty much intensive but it's enought for photos, videos and having a look. Our group was very international so I liked it . And also really go that Kittie knows two languages so my friends heard everything as well and understood the history of Georgia and details about places we visited.
